Eddie stared at her from across the table, his friends and her friends, Shawn included, talked happily about something — he wasn’t really paying attention, so he wasn’t included. But he didn’t mind, he just stared.
She was beautiful, and everything was just so surreal. She laughed and smiled very easily, and she made others laugh effortlessly.
He watched her like she had the stars in her hands and soft petals at her feet and everytime Shawn glanced at Eddie and their eyes met, both of them would blush and shyly gazed away.
He wanted to wrap her in his arms and never let go. But first things first, he had to ask her out on a date and his nerves were so bad he shook at just the thought.
He bit his lip and he wanted to say something. . . But he didn’t know what. He had talked to her continuously for a month, he knew her — but he didn’t know her. She was seriously everything he had imagined her to be, but also wildly different.
Eddie looked down at the untouched pizza in front of him, after her show had ended, Erza and Danny had invited Shawn and her friends out to eat at the nearby pizza place.
Then he glanced at Shawn one more time before pulling out his phone and sending her a playful text.
Eddie🚂 pAyAtTenTIoNtOmE!
He anxiously watched her as she blinked in surprise and glanced at her phone, her carefully tinted red lips stretched into a grin, which immediately made Eddie’s heart flutter, and she shot him and amused look before looking down at her lap to reply, no doubt.
He glanced down at his screen and choked on his laugh when he saw the picture she had sent him.
He clasped a hand over his mouth to stifle the snorts and giggled spewing from his mouth and looked at Shawn, who was giggling as well.

“T- That was — was not what I - I expected — atall.” Eddie managed to said past his uncontrollable laughter. Shawn rolled her eyes and little and stuck her tongue at him, her lips stretched into the brightest and most gorgeous smile he had ever seen.
[] Okay, I apologize for the short chapter and for not updating in. . . A while. But I’ve had a ton of things to do, and I had so many other ideas for other stories and books, I just forgot about this. But I am back and I’m working on a couple of chapters :3 I’ll try to go back to my schedule of one chapter per day, but my brain sucks, so. . . Who knows! []
