"They are getting closer and you're doing nothing!" Ismey screams in my face, slamming her hands down on the desk. I love her temper.

I chuckle to myself, kicking my feet up on the desk and leaning back in my chair. "Let them," I shrug, looking out the window of my classroom to the dark night.

Ismey seems taken aback by my response, I don't blame her though, I should be worried, but why should I worry about a bunch of seventeen-year-olds? It's not like they can take me down, I'm unstoppable.

"Now fetch me my son, I need to speak with him," I dismiss Ismey, taking my feet off the desk and sitting up straight. She reluctantly leaves me and fetches Nathen.

I sit in silence, looking upon the empty desks before me. I can't understand how people can teach high schoolers, they are obnoxious, annoying, loud, and they don't know how to shut up. If I had it my way my classes would be silent, I'd teach them respect, just like I taught my son.

The door to my classroom opens then shuts, Nathan walks into my line of sight and pulls a chair up. "Son," I smile at him, clasping my hands together and leaning back in my chair again.

"Yes father," he asks, looking at me with a stone-cold face, just like I taught him.

I smile to myself and stand up, facing the whiteboard behind me. "I need you to pay our dear Evangeline some time soon to deliver a message for me," I tell him.

Nathan stands and nods, then I dismiss him. I slowly walk through my classroom, stopping at the seat of one of my students, I glide my finger along the desk then around the back of the chair.

"Soon Evangeline. Soon we will meet officially."

I'm the first to wake up that morning, staying up till four a.m drains you, especially since I haven't been sleeping when I'm meant to for a few weeks. I look around the dark soon to see my friends sleeping in our little circle we set up on my bedroom floor last night, I smile to myself.

We all look so normal, like we aren't hunting a serial killer who's murdered eight people. We look like teenagers for once.

I stretch a bit then stand up, but before I could take a single step the world was spinning around me, blurring together and then I'm no longer in my room but I'm in the middle of a white forest.

Frantically looking around I spot a man dressed in all black, a plain black mask covering his face with Ismey at his side, X...

"What do you want?" I ask them, stepping forward, my bare feet leaving steps in the snow behind me.

Ismey smirks, as a ball of yellow flames bursts from her hands, the same coloured fire from the first murder. I take another step forward and so do they, now we are only a few meters away from each other, and I can feel the heat from the flame.

X steps closer to me but Ismey doesn't follow, my heart starts racing as he gets closer, he stops just a few inches away from me. I watch as his sharp green eyes seem to stare holes into my soul, he raises his gloved hand and holds my chin lightly in his hand.

My entire body is paralysed but not from the cold. X moves my head from side to side, slowly examining my face, I stare at him in horror as my lips tremble. "You will be such a pretty prize," he mumbles under the mask.

This seems to snap my body out of it as I slap his hand away and take a few steps backwards, almost falling in the deep snow. X laughs to himself as he watches me, like a predator torturing its prey.

"Oh Evangeline, you're so close to figuring it out it's stupid," he chuckles, he then pulls his hood away from his head to reveal midnight black hair, what's happening?
