The worldly link (Astro boy x reader)

Astro and Dr Tenma

Kennedy gave Zoran an unsure look as the group snuck around the gates.

"Zoran, are you sure that this is the right place?" Kennedy questioned. Zoran nodded.

"This is definitely Dr Tenma's house alright." Zoran told.

"We should check it out just to be sure." Ajeero suggested. Zoran huffed and put her hands on her hips.

"Wait! If we go to the front door, he's not gonna let us see Astro." Zoran stated. Abercrombie smirked.

"Then we need to sneak in from the back, come on!" Abercrombie beckoned as he ran around to the back fence. Ajeero, Zoran and Kennedy followed him. They jumped over the fence and into the yard. They all hid behind a bush and looked at the house. Abercrombie and Zoran then nodded to each other and snuck out of the bush. Abercrombie then froze when he was met face to face with a robot guard dog. Abercrombie then cried out and ran away.

Astro was studying when he heard Abercrombie's voice. He then shrugged and went back to his work. His thoughts then went back to what happened the night before. He frowned as he thought back to the neon blue eyes of Pandora. They looked so cold and unnatural, but he could sense that behind those eyes was a kind and caring person. Astro frowned as he tapped his pen against his chin. He then heard screaming again and got out of his seat to look out of his window. He then flinched when he heard Tenma's voice.

"Tobio! What have I told you? I do not want you to concern yourself with the outside world!" Tenma scolded. Astro turned around and scratched the back of his head.

"Um, yes father." Astro told.

You stared at the end of the forest. A look of determination crossed your face and you took a step towards the outside of the forest. 'What do you think that you're doing?' You gasped as your body turned around and walked in the opposite direction. You growled.

"I have to go and help Astro." You told. Pandora scoffed. 'Help him? Like hell I'd let you. What's the point? You know that those nitwits will end up rescuing him either way. Why must YOU go?' Pandora questioned. You clenched your fists. "I don't want to just sit around and do nothing! What's the point in me being here if I can't even spend my last moments with my friends!?" You questioned. Pandora chuckled. She then took over your body. You growled as Pandora walked back towards the centre of the forest.

"There's a reason that I'm keeping you here, and that's so you don't interfere with the story. I don't want to risk you dragging on. And besides, I've got a new plan for you." Your eyes widened. 'What do you mean?' Pandora chuckled. "I thought that imprisoning you would be such a waste. So, I have a new idea in mind." You furrowed your brow. 'And exactly what IS that plan?' Pandora chuckled. "All in good time, my friend. All in good time." Pandora then sat on the tree stump, and allowed you to take back your body. You immediately stood up and walked forwards. No matter what, you were leaving that forest.

Ajeero, Zoran, Abercrombie and Kennedy stared at the sky rider with a smile. Abercrombie chuckled.

"Great idea Ajeero." Ajeero smiled.

"This is a glider, Zoran. Astro was one of the founding members of the sky riders!" Zoran smiled and looked at Ajeero in awe.

"The sky riders?" Kennedy nodded.

"That's right! Once Astro sees the flag of the sky riders, he's gotta remember us!" Kennedy exclaimed. Everyone then boarded the sky riders and took off.

You sighed as you slumped on the tree stump. Fifty times you tried to leave the forest, but Pandora simply wouldn't let you. You then looked up and your eyes widened to see the sky rider up in the air. You felt Pandora smirk. 'See? They've gone off to save Astro. You weren't needed. In fact, they've already forgotten about you.' You growled.
