A date

AN: Hello my dear readers! I know that I haven't updated in a while, I've just been busy with my other Astro boy x reader fanfic. I hope that you've checked out those. So, here's another chapter, enjoy! (What am I doing with my life? XD)

Astro sat in the lounge room, watching another one of Zoran's favourite TV shows with her. Zoran's eyes were glued to the screen. Both she and Astro were currently watching a soap opera. Astro didn't understand why Zoran liked these kinds of things. In his opinion, they were too sappy. Zoran started to tear up as a tragic scene appeared. She then reached towards the screen.

"No, Marco, no! Don't leave Isabella, she can't live without you!" Zoran cried. Astro raised his eyebrow at Zoran.

"Why not? I mean, she did cheat on him with another guy. So, Marco has every right to leave." Astro told. Zoran frowned.

"Oh yeah? And what if Y/N had cheated on you with somebody else?" Astro gasped.

"Y/N would never do that to me!" Astro shouted. Zoran rolled her eyes.

"Oh yeah? Well you're not exactly the most romantic type out there. I mean, I wouldn't be too surprised if she left you." Astro growled and stood up.

"Zoran, be quiet!" Astro cried. Zoran smirked.

"What, worried? You have every right to be. I mean, you haven't even taken her out on a date yet." Astro was about to comment when his eyes widened in realisation. She was right, he HADN'T taken you out on a date yet! Astro then started shifting nervously. Zoran smirked, knowing she had won. She then turned back towards the TV. "You'd better get cracking, Astro. Or it'll be too late." Astro gasped and ran out of the house. He HAD to make this date perfect! He then stopped in his tracks. What do you even DO on a date? Where would you go? WHEN would you go? Astro sighed. Looks like he had a lot of researching to do.

Ajeero was giving the sky rider some upgrades when Astro walked into the shed.

"Hey Ajeero." Astro greeted. Ajeero took off his goggles and glanced at Astro. He then smiled.

"Oh, hey Astro! What brings you here?" Ajeero questioned as he stood up. Astro held his arm in embarrassment.

"Um, uh, well," Ajeero raised his eyebrow at Astro.

"What is it?" Astro breathed in.

"Well, I was just wondering if you knew anything on dating..." Astro muttered. Ajeero's eyes widened.

"Dating?" Ajeero then thought for a moment before a wide grin spread across his face. He then smiled knowingly at Astro. "Oooooooh, you mean for Y/N, don't you?" Astro's face turned beet red and he nodded. Ajeero laughed and patted Astro on the back. "Well, my friend, dating can be a lot of things. It can be an activity between lovers, it can also be a decision on the status of your relationship. It can also be the thing that brings a couple together, or destroys their relationship." Astro's eyes widened. Destroy a relationship? Suddenly, Astro was a lot more nervous than he was at first. Ajeero laughed and patted Astro on the back. "But I don't think you have too much to worry about. I mean, this is Y/N we're talking about. I'm sure she's not expecting anything fancy." Astro laughed nervously.

"Yeah, since I haven't even asked her yet." Ajeero's eyes widened. He then shook Astro by the shoulders.

"You haven't even ASKED her!?" Astro's eyes widened as he nodded. Ajeero then sighed. "Well, I guess you having a plan before asking her is a wise decision. Let me warn you though, this is your first date, correct?" Astro nodded. "Well, then you have to make this special. Understand?" Astro nodded. Ajeero smiled. "Good. Now go ask somebody else for advice." Astro gave Ajeero a bewildered look.
