Chapter 7 - OMG ALEX!!!

Amelia's pov

We made it downstairs I was zoned out something about my brother was off. That word I never thought I hear him say it. My ears hear the name Levi and a growl come from my brother. I think me and Helena are the only ones who knows what going on with him. I'm guessing it's because of Levi.

We all walked into the living room. I take a seat near Helena on the couch only to find someone putting me near himself. I felt these tingles flow over my side. Damn that feels good. Helena giggles.

> Someone's like you near him. He's not forcing you completely so that's a good thing. I mean at least I think. <

> Helena thanks like I needed your thoughts in my head. <

"Whatever Amelia I'm going to the bathroom."

With that, she went to the bathroom. Its been about 7 minutes since my brother disappeared probably right after Levi. They probably making out by now my brother doesn't like to wait. Oh, shit wait did Helena leave just to pick on my brother and his mate. Everyone was talking. I heard the cabinet open after someone sat down next to Lincoln. I get up. Someone arm reaches for me.

"I feel something off can I please go check on my brother?"

His hand left my hoodie. I walked around the couch to the kitchen chair.

"Alex are you okay? You keep sighing and that is so unlike my party headed brother. "

"Sorry, Amelia I was lost in thought."

A joke that would help his attitude right he loves them.

"Mom, Alex was thinking again what are we gonna do?!"

Mom went right with it.

"Alex, honey how's your brain it must hurt if you're using it."

We all giggled well someone didn't but oh well. Their loss right. Guess it's mostly an inside joke. Then I heard him grunt. Mom must have rushed over to him to check on him.

"I'm fine mom just a friend yelling at me through the pack link. I'll be right back okay."

His heartbeat speeds up. He just lied. Why? I hear his feet shuffle away. My thought was interrupted by someone sliding into the bar stool beside me.

" Well let me formally introduce myself. I'm Alpha Maximus Black. It's nice to meet you. "

I smiled and tilted my head. A light giggle left my mouth. I really do like him. He can't be as bad as the rumors say right.

" I know and I'm Amelia Silvermoon. Nice to meet you too."

Then I hear a thud.

"ALEX?!"

I jump from my seat and trip into someone arms. Tingles rush over me so it has to be Maximus.

"I'm sorry I yelled without thinking. But I heard a thud. Alex, I have to check on him like right now. He lied to mom and ...."

"I got it love come on, we'll go up together that way if you fall I can catch you again."

A blush must be covering my face because that was so sweet.

"Okay."

We walked to the stair and I quickly rushed to Alex's room. The door was open. That's new when he usually comes up here he shuts the door.

"Alexander?"

An arm reached around me. Pulling me back into their chest. I knew it was Maximus but still not like I can see anything. The only thing I can tell is that his heartbeat is slowing down.

"Let me go I've got to help."

"No, stay here. ALPHA DAMON GET UP HERE WE SEEM TO HAVE AN ISSUE!"

He yelled down the stairs. I take the chance and slip out his grip. Throwing myself towards Alex's heartbeat. I try to reach out and touch him. But yet again I have pulled away. This time by a man that was not my mate. I growled not a thing I do often may I say.

" Amelia now is not the time to be pushy okay, dearest?"

"No his heart it's slowing down."

"I know but you have to let Ben get in the room to help him."

"Uncle Ben is here? Tell him his heart is stopping mom."

She pushes me into Maximus do to the sparks I felt.

"Keep her out of here got it the closer she is the more likely she is to interfere."

"Yes, ma'am got it."

"Where is Levi? He at least has the right to be near him. It's not fair to Alex if he's not."

"Why Levi?"

"That's his mate you dumbass."

Oh, shit did that just slip out my mouth. Never called someone that. I heard someone fast heart beating. A voice interrupted before I ended up dead.

"What wrong with him?"

"Levi is what she said true?"

"Yes Alpha it is. Please tell me what's wrong with Alex?"

"I love the whole mate finding thing but if I were you all I'd wait downstairs and someone get Tam's here. She'll know what this medicine is."

"Okay, Ben I got it. Now everyone downstairs."

Maximus must have picked me up not trust me enough to let me walk down on my own. Cause I was clearly over his shoulder in a second.

He walks pretty fast if I do say so myself. I was thrown onto the couch.

"I'd prefer if you didn't call me names mate."

Uh oh, I pissed someone off a lot. I mean I didn't mean it I just got upset. I felt something fall down my face. Then I realized I was crying. I felt so bad. I yelled and called my mate a dumbass. My brother just met his mate and now he's dying. My heart hurts. Did I start sobbing? Why me? What did I do to have this done to me? It's all my fault. Maximus must hate me. And if my brother dies his poor mate. It's my fault all my fault. Arms wrap around my body. I grab onto the person. They pick me up and sit down where I was sitting. Placing me on their lap. My face on their shoulder as I sob out.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to get mad love. Please don't be mad at me I'm sorry. Shhhh. Everything is going to be okay. Calm down okay."

Slowly I calm down.

"That's right now, breath with me okay."

I feel his chest go up and down. I try to mock it. Slowly I calmed down even more. I yawned and slowly fell asleep against his chest.
