Chapter 17 - Moving Day

A/N: I know I never decided on a name for Maximus pack but I will just make it simple and kind of cheesy if you want me to change it please just leave a comment and I will.

Amelia's Pov

I got up and Maximus wasn't next to me it would seem that he was in the shower. We are leaving today.  Jayson still hasn't talked about anything yet. So for right now, Levi and Jayson are going to stay here until we figure something out about that. But tonight we are having a pack meeting and I'll be introduced as the new Luna of the Kings Pack. 

Dad was having my uncle Ben help by driving the truck with my stuff. Maximus said they were going to run back since it would be quicker. He said he wanted me to ride with my uncle. I don't like it. Its like he's babying me. It doesn't feel right and Aasemah seems to side with him. We've never really run for long distances. I mean I've only transformed once and it was the most painful thing in the world. But it hurts emotionally to be babied by our mate.

>Amelia I'm sure they're just doing it so we don't get hurt.<

>But I don't like being treated like a baby they make it seem like I can't do anything on my own.<

>I know but they just wanna protect us.<

>Yeah Talk to you later Aasemah.<

>Okay Amelia later.<

I cut our conversation short since I have to say goodbye to my family. Suddenly I was wrapped in someone arms. I'm guessing daddy since it smells like him.

"I don't wanna her to go, Jill."

I think she slapped him on the back of the head. since he grunted after his head was tilted forward.

"Damon I don't want her to go either but at least she's gonna be with her mate."

"Mom, dad just let her be. She goes and I get to use her bathroom when she has gone no more sharing with the two lovebirds."

"Even if she leaves when I give Alex my title we'll have to move out Tyler."

"Wow, the love Tyler."

I rolled my eyes as I said that.

"Whatever sis, you know I love you. Plus you are a short run away."

I hear someone walk down the steps.

"I don't want the title anymore, dad. I wanna give the title to Tyler."

We all turn around. That was the first word he said since the accident. He's tried so hard over the year and is just gonna give everything. Then a second pair of steps fallow with a yawn. I guess its Levi. He opens his mouth to tell Alex something.

"I'm run back with the guy and get my stuff so it already here."

Clearly, he did hear what Alex said before he left the room.

"No, you won't we're packing my stuff and leaving with Amelia."

I bet he just as confused as me and my family. I don't think he's heard his mates voice in the past two days until now. I would guess he hasn't even tried to touch him at all either.

"Huh? What are talking about Alex. Let's not make rash decisions son."

"Plus I don't want to be Alpha."

"Then we'll figure out something else because I, Alexander Theodore Silvermoon, reject my right to be Alpha of Silvermoon Pack."

Oh, my goddess, he didn't just say that. That has to hurt dad a lot. I'm sure mom is just as upset. What Alpha wants to hear his son say he rejects the title that he was supposed to pass down to him. Plus that would mean that the pack won't have an Alpha unless one of us want its first and then to the beta and gamma. I rushed up the stairs to Alex. I put my hand on his face.

"Alex you've got to think this through big brother. Think about this."

I felt his head move.

"Maximus, would you take your mate and tell her to worry about her new pack and not this one."

I broke how dare he. He's never been this selfish. I removed my hand from his hand and pulled it back. I hit the spot where my hand had just been.

"Why the hell are you being like this. I get it your broken but it never stopped you before Alex!"

He growls.

"YOU'D BE LIKE THIS IF YOU CAN'T COMPLETE YOUR MATING PROCESS WITH YOUR FUCKING MATE WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT BEING RAPPED BY PEOPLE YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW OR THAT YOU CAN'T GIVE THEM YOUR FIRST TIME SINCE IT WAS TAKEN AWAY WHEN YOU WHERE EIGHT-YEAR-OLD FUCKING CHILD! ALL BECAUSE SOMEONE WANTED TO GET BACK AT YOUR FATHER FOR MAKING THEN A ROUGE! I WAS FUCKING PROTECTING YOUR SINCE YOUR BLIND AND CAN'T EVEN SEE WHO WAS COMING! I JUMPED THEM AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN HERE AND TRY AND CALL OUT FOR ME!"

All those word that just came out of his mouth. This was what was stopping him. I couldn't believe this. That day almost ten years ago he disappeared for how long and when we found him he was coming out of the woods with Tammy's. We thought he had to went to visit Tammy and forgot to tell Helena or I. But here he was trying to protect me from villains I can't see because I'm blind. I slid down to the floor.  I could feel the tear falling from my eye and tI could hear my mother crying at this news. Levi seemed to growl Alex and I never yelled or fought like this. It hurts and hurts so much, why? Why can't I move from my spot? So many why running through my head. I can't feel anything but pain. I felt like my body was spinning as everything around me began to spin faster and faster everything getting darker by the second. I feel my head almost feel my head hit the ground. I was still coherent enough to hear someone land next to me. The rest of what was left of my coherence was no gone and I fell into a world of darkness.
