The Alpha's Human Mate

Over Protective

I sit at the dinner table with the whole pack silently. I stare at the plate of chicken and stab it with it my fork.  I look around and see Julia talking to a pack member. Jacob and Luke aren't even at the table. I haven't had very much time alone with him, I haven't really had that much alone time to myself. Ever Jason Luke's brother came Luke has become very overprotective. I have 2 pack guards follow me everywhere I go except the bathroom, inside my room, and in anyone else's room. I get up from the table and I make my way upstairs. I hear the foot steps of my two annoying guards. I make a left down the hallway and walk down it. I finally reach my room and I enter and close the door behind me. I walk to my bed and lay down. I grab my phone Luke gave me, and plug my ear-buds in. I turn on some music I downloaded and begin to listen. I let all my worries of Jason fade away and the stupid guards disappear. I just let my become content and everything becomes still.***

I feel someone shaking me and I open my eyes to see Luke. I pull my ear-buds out of my ears and sit up. 

I then ask,"What?! Is something wrong?!" Luke smiles his breathtaking smile. He chuckles a little. Luke then says,"No, no nothing is wrong. I just wanted to see my mate." My heart sped up at the sound of Luke calling me his mate. I yawn loudly. 

Luke then ask,"Do you wanna go for a walk?" I did, but I didn't want to guard one or two to come. 

I then say,"I'll go on a walk if guards don't follow us." Luke thought about this for a moment. 

Luke then said,"Fine." I got up and hugged him because we were gonna finally be alone. 

I then say,"I need to freshen up. So I'll meet you downstairs." Luke nods and leaves me. I go to my bathroom and brush my hair and put it into a high pony-tail. I then make my way out of my room and down the hallway. To my relief, Luke actually did get rid of those annoying guards. I got to the front door and see Luke there waiting for me. He smiles at me and I can tell he's missed me too. We walk outside around the pack's territory and make small talk. I want this moment to never end. Just me and my mate. No one else there to take away this time. We stop and sit down on a small little bench that's next to the pack's garden. I take in what's around me and I feel content. I have my mate and that's all I need. 

Luke then says,"I have something to tell you." I look at him and I get a little worried. 

Luke then says,"You're Pack Ceremony will be in a week." I look at him with wide eyes. I million different emotions are rushing through me. I feel excited, nervous, shock, and happy.

I then say,"Really." Luke nods. We stay quiet for a minute and I begin to think. I decide that I'm glad. 

I then say,"Good."Luke stares at me and smiles at my word. I lean my head onto Luke's shoulder.  I feel complete with Luke. I can feel a connection no ordinary human could understand. 

Luke then says,"I want to ask you something and I need you to honest." I lift my head off his shoulder a little bit and see love and hope in his eyes.

Luke then asks,"Do you love me?" I think I do love Luke. Every time I'm with him I feel complete and content. I haven't felt that way with anyone else. 

I then answer,"Yes, I love you, Luke." He smiles and I lift my head from his shoulder. Our faces are now facing each other and were so close. I can feel this pull toward his lips and I can tell he feels the same way. I move closer and so does Luke. We're soon touching lips and sparks flow through my body. Our lips move together and I never want this moment to end. We pull away breathing heavily and we both look into each other's eyes. Luke has happiness and love in his eyes. I smile at Luke smiles at me. We may be two different things, a human mated to a werewolf but I still love Luke and he loves me.
