Dr. Lee peered over his reading glasses. He was that horrid monster that every kid dreads when they saw him at a park or a convenience store. I sank lower in my seat with the hopes of escaping his laser glare. "You, you're the team leader. Come to my office." I wanted to puke. I made my way to his office not looking at anyone but their eyes melted the floor and their silence was deafening due to the fear of being summoned by Seoul's one of the most promising psychiatrists.
I slowly followed every footsteps he made, the weight pulling me in for some additional weight. He took his seat, I can't almost see him because of all the papers stacked on his desk but in some way, seeing him would only cause me my panic attack.
Today is our first day of observations, we were summoned at early 5 o'clock in the morning to hear some words from Dr. Lee and I never expected to be appointed as the team leader. How do you expect me to plan and sort things out when I can't even do that for my own life?
"The boys are going to music shows to promote their new track, they will probably do that in weeks so all you have to do is stick with them all throughout their days. If you have classes and they call you, use your pass and tend on them." Dr. Lee explained in a very calm manner. I flinched from my seat just hearing every word he said, the floor eating me whole.
"They know that we're going to be with them, right?" I asked, I wanted to clarify this since last week because I can't deal with any more struggle. I mean, some of them might already know me as the girl who threw a pin on one of their members but I don't want them to be surprised to see a team of five people tailing them.
The doctor just laughed and nodded, to my surprise, I can see his wrinkles when his face lit up. I got what I wanted to have and left his office immediately, my heart still pounding due to nervousness.
When we got down the headquarters to find our way to our subject's schedule, a huge black sedan was parked outside, with dark tinted windows and there a man with a flabby belly welcomed us. "Are you team Sierra?" He inquired as he took his sunglasses off.
Each of us, with our jaws wide open, found the way to look at our nametags, a silver plated with regular bold letters on top saying team sierra, and our names written on big bold arial.
"A fly might enter your mouths. Im Yoon Hongsik, Monsta X's manager." He introduced himself with a bow, I get to shake his hand first and I bowed as I told him that I'm the appointed team leader. "Ah! You were that pin girl!" He said while gesturing us to get inside the car. My face burns red again, gladly the car has dark tinted windows.
When we arrived at the music show venue, the media and fans, I classify them into two things; the calm ones and the disturbed ones. The disturbed ones are the fans taking pictures, Zephyr told me that they're called fansites here. On our way to get here, I unconsciously searched for Monsta X to get to know the boys better. I discovered bops I'm not even expecting to discover and it made me wonder why they need us in the first place. Are they those people who needs a pep talk machine?
The car parked behind another similar black sedan, the manager got out first and I saw how he opened the door of the other black sedan in front of us. Seven visuals stepped their feet out the car and looked at us, butterflies wilding inside my stomach. We were informed to get out of the car as well, my team exchanged greetings with them but there's nothing I can do but to bow and silently wish to never have that scene brought up.
"Did you eat?" Changkyun poked my cheeks, he brightened. The other member's silently killing me in their minds.
"Yes," I replied and slowly walked away from him, I don't want to die from the harsh words of the fans if they see their precious sunshine poking someone's cheeks. The seven visuals made their way to the entrance and stood on the mark, numerous cameras shattered from the media and the fans as they made a v pose and finger hearts.
