Zimmy's POV.
I was enjoying my morning read when one call shocked the whole house. I can't help but wonder what happened next to the lead character of that book, but instead of finding out, I was out here on the streets of the city I'm not used to. As time passed by, my worry just got heavier and heavier and I still haven't received a single call from my team.
Where is he?
The cheap paint on the building grew on me and I know I checked and double checked here and there but still no Hyungwon appeared on my sight. As I was saying, it was morning when we received a call from their manager, I can remember my team planning their weekends on their own and the anxious voice of the manager lingered on my mind. He informed us that they thought Hyungwon woke up earlier than usual, got his hair and make up done, and went straight to the music show location. They found an empty waiting room when they arrived there, no signs of Hyungwon, no crumbs from his bread nor coffee spilt.
If I were Hyungwon, where would I go?
Sadly, I don't know him enough to answer that. My head was just spinning when a light bulb shone a light on me, Dania.
He must be with Dania.
I hurriedly dialed her manager's contact, tried to calm myself and breathe properly, "Hello, I'm Zim from Hana Medical Center, a friend of Dania."
I was even forced to lie. When I gained the manager's trust, I spurted to their location. She was filming a drama, while her boyfriend is missing, she was here lying comfortably and being a bitch. My blood boiled and I dragged myself near her so I could ask the question.
"Where is Hyungwon?" She peered through her sunglasses that has frames bigger than her face and rolled her golden eyes. I tried my best to ignore her, thinking it's for Hyungwon.
"Do you think I'm his mother? I don't want to hear his name again, make her go." Her eyes rolled again, this time I thought it would fall out off her eye socket. I twitched my brows thinking how stupid I was to even think of her in this situation. Of course, her princess make pretend ass won't know where her soon to be boyfriend was.
"Did you fight?" I asked, desperately wanting answers.
"Who wouldn't fight him? He was being all dandy and shit," she sarcastically informed me then I got shoo-ed away. Okay, they had a fight. Then the last person he was seen with was her, and she was sitting there comfortably. Can I punch her?
I walked through the police station to get some help, but when I saw the stack of missing persons, I absolutely knew right away that I was in the wrong place. I dialed Zephyr since she was the one responsible for Hyungwon, "did you find him yet?"
She sighed, I can hear his exhausted breaths from the other line and she doesn't have to answer anymore. I contemplated whether to call one of the deadly sins or not, I ended up going back to the music show location.
The chaotic and busy people on the building made my head scream in pain. I was walking to the sides, asking the wall for a little lift.
"We can't do anything but to cover him up." I heard the manager say. Cover him up. I saw the looks of worry and terror from their faces, this must be the first time Hyungwon did this.
I slumped to the lobby bench hoping for a miracle. My team hasn't found him yet, and I have no idea where to go or what to do.
The sudden sound of my ringtone surprised the life inside of me, but I know the anxiety is just about to start.
"Can you pick me up?" Sound of horror came from his mouth and if only I can smell the breath under that voice of him, I'd probably smell alcohol.
