15 | This Game Sucks

Zimmy's POV.

Dara woke me up early for whatever reason. Then I found myself waking up Gab, Matt and Zephyr as well. The sun already peeked from the horizon and the fresh sea foam make its way to the shore, making that calming sound.

Today is our last day on the beach, and I know my circle already know that Kihyun acted cocky again. They should be telling me to never get close to him again but I guess they're still waiting for the right moment to discuss it with me. I never know what happened next to Kihyun and Dr. Lee and I have no idea why I'm still thinking of him, he didn't even look for me.

"Do you guys want something refreshing?" Gab killed the silence but since he presented, everyone asked for a mango juice which might come in pricy but he gave us a smile and journeyed to Jamba Juice.

Zephyr approached me silently while Dara and Matt were taking silly photos of each other. "I'm sorry about Kihyun," she started, "I swear he only talked about you the whole night but that's not supposed to come from me. He was desperately looking for you."

I shook my head and gave her a tap, her sorry eyes were glossy. "Let's not talk about him Zephyr, it's not worth it."

We waited for Gab and took a hundred pictures, I might even look happier to some people who stumbles upon us.

Good ten minutes have passed and we saw Gab running, he looked at me the moment he stopped right in front of us. His whole body covered in sweat.

"I told you, we shouldn't have trusted him," Matt fumed pertaining to the juice that can't be seen.

I can feel Gab's reeling mind, so I came in his defense. "We should have chipped in in the first place anyway, that's fine."

Gab opened his mouth only to close it again. I shrugged that off, hoping it's not something important.

From the distance, screams of girls irritated our ears that we have to turn around only to see Monsta X and that Railli and his band, all making their way towards us.

Kihyun rushed over to my direction but Railli, with much longer legs made it first.

"We didn't end on a good note the last day we met," he stated, "I'm sorry about those girls." He finished and offered his hand from which I responded and took it as a non-apology but it didn't really matter.

"But why are you all doing here?" Dara asked while brushing her arm. My team gathered around me, and we all saw Dr. Lee walking and beside him was Dania.

What is she even doing here? Lately, everyone's going on and on about her. She's always on the narrative and I don't want to have her for it but that's exactly it. She should have a life.

"So you're all here?" Dr. Lee announced with both his arms crossed, a cocky smile appeared on his face to which Kihyun obviously flinched at.

I rolled my eyes and went behind Matty who has a much buffy frame on anyone in my team.

"I hate to deliver this to you but you're not leaving this island unless you play my game," Dr. Lee rubbed his hands together.

Everyone gave him a surprised reaction, but I am so done with all his bullshit so I had to butt in. "Can we just leave at ease?"

"No. Remember, this is my game and you're obviously working for me so you really don't have a choice." He emphasized, "there are going to be two teams; team monsta and team sierra."

"But what are they doing here?" Gabby asked, pertaining to the 3-membered band.

Dr. Lee scoffed and walked in a line separating us from Monsta X. "There are eight of them, the number must be balanced."
