Only Slightly Lost

I'm a rapper sometimes too

 You switched it up and left me with nothing, 

I switch it up you get mad over nothing. 

Unnecessary jealousy that made you stop calling me. 

I needed you here and you left me, no apologies.

 It's funny cause I would run back to you still, 

you take advantage of the fact that I will. 

I'm done holding back I'm gonna let the tears fall, 

but what pisses me off is you don't care at all. 

I wish I could be the person you are, 

you feel an emotion then sound the alarm. 

You feel the love and shut it down real quick,

I stop feeling the love so then I overthink. 

Got me racking my brain for what I did wrong, 

but really this was your plan all along. 

Make her feel special and treat her a way, 

tell her you love her just to get her to stay.

But here is a lesson that you should've learned, 

her love was a gift that should've been earned. 

You are playing a game that she knows she will lose. 

Just understand that all she is losing is you. 

But winning your game ain't gonna give you much, 

just an empty inbox and loss of her touch. 

Your loss will be so much greater than hers, 

she lost a player but you lost the universe.
