I would never question my ability to love you.
Correction
I would never question my need to love you.
It seems as if the world revolves around the air you breathe,
The gravitational pull that keeps the moon to the earth keeps you to me.
It's almost as if our love could capture the universe.
And yet the distance of 27 miles holds us in a black hole that never stops
Sucking the life out of my soul.
Without you in my world there is no soul.
Three months is too much time.
I am counting down the days until 27 becomes none.
The black hole becomes a galaxy of stars that never burn out.
You are a lightyear away and tonight I am staring at the stars,
Hoping an asteroid lands somewhere in between you and I
Just so I don't feel so far away
I wouldn't mind the disaster
The catastrophic, collateral damage.
At least I could say it was worth it.
Your eyes hold a galaxy all on their own.
And it would be an honor to be destroyed by your universe,
If it meant you being apart of mine one more time.
- I love you
