I make sure I'm all packed up for my flight tomorrow. I can't believe it- I'm going to be on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Who knew that a book about a celebrity bodyguard and telling all the stories I got from the experience would become a best seller? It went on sell almost two weeks ago. I'm so glad I figured out that acting wasn't for me and I wrote the book. We never brought a house or anything with the money and probably never will, the house we have now, that was just John's before I came back to see mom the last time, is all we need, that and the fact that now we can stay home and not work. I'm glad I figured out that John and a family were for me. I glad I stayed in Oklahoma. My mom told me that I would get my big break soon, I now understand that she didn't mean that it would be in acting, she meant that it would be in love, you were right mom.
I look over at him and say, "goodnight Sully."
"Goodnight my celebrity. I love you."
"I love you too."
Just as I start to fall asleep, I hear a knock at the door.
"Come in."
The door opens to revel 2 seven year olds, my twins, Sonnet- the one with my purple eyes and John's blond hair and Annabeth- the one with John's enchanting green eyes and my black hair, both holding their blankets.
"We had a nightmare," Annabeth says, Sonnet still looks scared.
"Y'all can sleep in here tonight."
They run up to the bed and jump on it and John moves over some to give them more room.
"Sweeties, whatever happened in your nightmares, it's just a dream and I will never let anything harm you two."
John tells them that everything will be alright and nothing bad will get them.
They soon feel better and fall asleep between us.
I chuckle to myself.
"What's so funny," John asks.
"I never told you this but you know that first night I was back in town to see mom, the one where you cuddled with me?"
"How could I forget- 'for a guy with muscles, you're surprisingly comfy.'"
"Well, I had a dream where I was in house and suddenly a little blond girl came running to me, she had purple eyes, then you walked in behind and asked, 'how's my celebritity?', then I woke up and now I was just thinking that no matter how dorky or cliche as it sounds, in a way it's true, dreams really do come true."
John chuckles some and then we say goodnight and fall asleep.
And this book is now completed! Boom! Thanks for reading, I had so much fun writing this book!
