~Serena~

The second I open my eyes, I regret it, the sunlight streaming through my window blinds me.

"Hey, you're up. Hold on," I hear the sound of the blinds on my window closing and open my eyes again. "You, okay?"

"What happened and why does my head feel like it got hit by a train?"

"You got drunk, what do you remember?"

"Nate, feeling bad, getting drunk, and probably saying embarrassing stuff. That correct?"

"No embarrassing stuff but you did talk in your sleep."

I feel my face flush, and put my hand to my face, trying to hide my shame, "do I even want to know what I said?"

"Something about liking chocolate bunnies and you were wondering whether or not you liked some dude."

"Oh yeah, I was dreaming about Brad Pitt," good save!

"Why did you say good save?"

"The movie, you've never heard of it? Yeah, it kinda sucks but he takes his shirt off a lot."

"Okay," he chuckles.

"Did you stay here all night? As in taking care of me?"

"Yep."

"Wow, thanks, that was sweet of you."

"No problem. But that wasn't true what you said last night."

"What'd I say?"

"That no one will ever love you. That's not true Serena, I love you." Love? He must mean just as friends.

"Awww, I friend-love you too." Why just as friends? Grrrrrr!!!!!

"Yeah, friends, um, I gotta go, bye, take some aspirin and drink lots of water," he leaves my room with a frown on his face and I hear the front door slam shut.

My mom's face pops into my room, "he's realized it."

"For real?"

"For real. Oh and sweetie, if Nate comes here again, let me know so I can beat the crap out of him. Remember he doesn't deserve you, you deserve better. Like John," she leaves with a wink.

What should I do now? I feel like a clueless, boy crazy teenager again, ugh.

This is a very short chapter, sorry about that, but I felt like it needed it be done so there it is. Thanks for reading.
