Woke up this morning, can't shake the thunder from last night
You left with no warning and took the summer from my life
I gave you my everything, now my world it doesn't seem right
Can we just go back to being us again?*

Your POV
It was starting to get dark, but the sounds around me continued. Police drove by, their sirens hurting my ears.
The number of people walking outside had significantly gone down. But now, I saw mostly drunk people. I wanted to disappear, make myself small, but I couldn't. I still didn't have a place to stay for the night. I had seen a few hotels, but I had to pre-book a room at least one day beforehand.
So I found myself walking the street, my body aching. I realized I was shaking, my breathing was unsteady, and salty tears blurred my vision. Where was I? Where was Phil?
I gave up on walking just as it started raining. In a matter of seconds, it was pouring down. Coldwater drenched my clothes.
I ran through an alley, in the hope of finding shelter, only to be met by a locked shed.
"Damn it!" I cried. Two other sheds stood on each side of the small garden I found myself in. The second door I tried was also locked shut. I tried the third shed, it had a nameplate, somewhere above eye-level that read, Parker.
In my luck, this door wasn't locked. I hurried inside, almost immediately falling asleep when I sat down.

Peter's POV
"I must've been one storm out here last night." I walked towards our shed to get gardening equipment. Apparently, I had promised Aunt May to help her in the garden today. Lucky me...
I really wanted to go on patrol today, but nooo. I sighed. I fiddled with the key when I realized, the door wasn't locked.
"Hello?" Oh yeah, sure, like whoever's there is going to answer...
I checked my wrist, I wasn't wearing my web-shooters. So I grabbed the closest thing, a broom. I would've said I had a fighting stance, but I really didn't. Instead, I held the tip of the brush with one hand and tried to open the door with the handle. It really didn't work. In the end, I did open the door with my hand. And to my surprise, on the floor, sat a girl. She looked soaking wet, a light blue hood covered her head. At first, I didn't realize it, but she was asleep.
In a panic, I called May.
"Yes?"
"There's a girl in our shed."
The call was cut short as May came running only a few seconds later. She was wearing a plain striped jumpsuit and my red and blue crocs.
"What the!" May looked at me, then the girl, then at me again. "Well, help me get her inside!"
I lifted the girl up. It might have been my imagination, but I was sure she winced. May grabbed the bags that obviously belonged to her.
"Where?" I looked around in the room to find a place for the sleeping girl.
"Sofa? Or do you want her in your bed?"
"Uh! Sofa!" My voice cracked. I gently laid the girl down on the sofa. She stirred. Her green eyes met mine, and I couldn't help but stare.

Your POV
The first thing I saw was a pair of brown eyes. I found myself standing, quickly backing up. A pain, worse than yesterday made standing on my foot impossible. I fell to the floor with a gasp.
"Shit, are you okay?" The boy ran towards me.
I couldn't help but be scared. I avoided eye-contact.
"We should look at that foot." A woman caught my attention.
She walked towards me. "How about we get you back on that couch?"
I hesitated but nodded. The woman grabbed my hand and helped me to the couch. She helped me remove my black sneaker, only to find a very swollen foot.
"I'm not a genius," the boy started. "But I don't think you should be walking on that foot."
"Yeah, no shit," I replied, quickly covering my mouth.
For a few seconds, they were quiet. Until the guy snorted. A smile grew on his face.
"I'm Peter." He said, reaching his hand out for me to shake.
"(y/n)," I replied with a hushed voice, but he seemed to have heard.
"Well, nice to meet you." Peter slowly put his hand back in his pocket as I didn't shake it.
"Make yourself useful and go get some ice." The women smiled at the boy.
"Right..." The boy walked away to the kitchen.
"I'm May." The woman started as she started bandaging my foot. "Peter's my nephew. Do you mind me asking why you were in our shed?"
I didn't say a word. Though I did wonder where that bandage came from.
"Right. I'm sorry we can't get you professional help." She shifted position. "We're not in such a good position financially."
"I don't mind," I mumbled.
The boy returned with a bag of ice. He gave it to me, saying, "Here you feel." Judging by his face, he did not mean it that way.
I laughed, then May did. Peter joined too when he tried to clarify.
"I meant... I meant to ask how you... you feel." He said, laughing between every few words.
"Better," I said, again going quiet. "I should leave."
"I don't think so." The voice scared me. "You are in no condition to walk. We can call your parents."
"No. We can't."
"Why? I--"
"Because they're dead, okay!?" I felt a tear fall down my cheek. "And Marcel abandoned me." I faced the fact.
"Would you like to take a bath?" May sighed. "Gather your thoughts?"
I nodded over the tears and heard the water running in a matter of seconds. Peter helped me to the bathroom, also bringing my bag.
"Try not to put your foot in the water."
I nodded, closing the door behind him.
I took my hood off and couldn't help but stare in the mirror.
