All of a sudden the floor fell from beneath us and we fell into darkness. It has been maybe 5 minutes. This hole seems endless. I wonder how long we'll be here. I looked over at Joanan and he didn't look annoyed at all by the the fact that we were falling forever. I look down for the 10th time and see water beneath us. Finally we can move on! We fell into the water. I'm not wet though. Weird. I look up and instead of seeing an endless hole I saw the roof of a well. The bricks in the well were sticking out of the wall making a staircase. We went up and climb out of the well. We found ourselves in front of my parents house. I must have looked sad.

"Krin, do you know whose house this is?" I look away so he couldn't see me cry.

"Yes, I do" I say trying to keep from sounding like I was crying.

"Are you crying?" He asks.

"N-No!" I say still turning away from him. He gripped my shoulder and made me turn around. I wiped away my tears.

"This house belongs to someone you know, clearly. Can you tell me who?"

"My parents..." I tell him. He sighed.

"Come on, let's go inside so we can leave this place." He says. We walked up to the house and rang the doorbell. No answer. I rung it again but nothing happened. Joanan grabbed an axe that was conveniently placed by the door and used it to chop down the wooden door. We stepped inside and the house was dark. The only source of light was coming from the hole in the door Joanan had just made. Suddenly as if time for the door reversed, all of the pieces from the door pieced itself back together. I started to panic. Are we trapped in here? This house feels smaller than before.

"Be afraid mirror me, it's a lot easier than trying to be strong." Mirror me said. I tried to fight her words. They seemed so tempting and I almost gave up until Joanan calmed me down.

"Don't give in" he told me. I nod, he held my hand. I immediately feel safer.

"Where will we get light from?" Joanan asked.

"Maybe my backpack has something in it" I tell him. He went through my bookbag. We couldn't see so it was going to take him a second to feel around for something useful. He pulled something out and struck it. A match was lit. He pulled out a lanturn from the bookbag and lit it with the match. He blew out the match and tossed it aside. Joanan zipped the bookbag. He used one hand to hold the lanturn and the other to hold mine. He pulled me along with him upstairs. We first went into my room. I haven't been in here since I was 21. Lots of electric blue since that was my favorite color. Everything seemed untouched. We then went into the guest bedroom. Nothing there. We moved on and opened the door to my parents room.
