Chapter-13 Hot

After we stared in disbelief at the Mirrorcorn for a while, we decided to walk around.

"I'm going to wash near the waterfall. If something happens, scream" he told me.

"Can't forget that, can I?" I say. He walked towards the waterfall. I kept on looking around for...something. I don't know. Maybe if I can find something that's out of place...I look around until I saw a strange flower that was the same height as me...and something that I probably shouldn't get near. So I back away. I felt something touch my shoulder. I almost freaked out until I heard Joanan's voice.

"Calm down it's just me" I turn to see him shirtless. He was hot. I blush and look away.

"Oh, I thought you were something else..." I say. "W-Well I'm gonna go now" I say then quickly walk over to the waterfall. I take off all of my clothes and get into the water. It was a little cold but very refreshing since I haven't had a shower in a while. I'm just now realizing how hot it is though. That's probably why he took off his shirt. Maybe I should just put my shirt in the bookbag and wear my bra around. I'll pretend like it's some new trendy thing or something...I get out and put everything on but my shirt. I walk over to Joanan. "Alright, let's go" He looked at me and blushed. Then immediately looked away as soon as he realized he was staring. I laughed a little.

"Hey don't laugh at me. You did the same!" I blushed.

"I won't deny it" I say. We continued to look around.

"Krin! Help!" I heard Joanan yell. I pulled out my bow and aim at the Mirrorcorn that was trying to stab him with its horn. I shot it in the head and it shattered. Before it could touch the ground the pieces disappeared. I helped him up. "Thanks"

"You must have provoked it. None of them have attacked me."

"I didn't. It just suddenly decided to attack me." He said.

"I guess I believe you" I say.

"Well, if we're going to work together then we need to learn to trust eachother so you can't just say I guess." He says.

"I just did, I guess..."

"Did you just say it again?!" I laughed.
"You little-" There was a loud noise coming from behind me."Run" I didn't take the time to turn around. If someone told you to run, they're telling you to do so for a reason. In other words, don't risk your life to find out.
