Mirror Me (Rewriting)

Chapter-40 The End

I quickly went through the maze to find him. It took me a second but I finally got there to see. Joanan had been stabbed. Mirror him stood towering over him about to stab him again. I quickly pull back an arrow with poison at his head. I wasn't expecting it to but it went straight through his head. He was dead.

"Finally!" I say. Joanan groaned. Whoops! Forgot he was there. I kneel down beside him. "Sorry" I say. Then pull the knife out of his side. That's a lot of blood...I quickly wrap bandages around around his chest. I help him up and put his arm over my shoulders. I'm not strong enough to carry him but I'll try and help him get around. We moved on rather slowly. As we walked through the cave he gradually put more weight on me. I looked at him and he looked like he was falling in and out of consciousness. I sat him down on the ground. I kneel down beside him.

"Please stay awake. Fight it Joanan. Don't close your eyes" I tell him. I begin to cry.

"Don't cry" he says.

"What do you mean don't cry?! Your dying!" I say. I pick up the bookbag and desperately look for something to  help.

"Tell Riley that I love her and that-ah!" I panic a little.

"Are you ok?!" I ask. Well, probably not..."what happened?"

"Just a little pain" A little? I kept searching until I found the bottle that I had gotten when in the other maze. She said it was a healing potion. I don't trust her but there is no other choice. This better work.

"Open" I tell him. He opened his mouth. I pour it in. Suddenly he yelled out in pain. I couldn't watch. I closed my eyes and hoped for the best. He stopped yelling but I didn't want to open my eyes to see what happened. Then I felt lips kiss my forehead. I open my eyes and see that he no longer looks like he is in pain. I hug him tightly and cry tears of joy.
"I thought you were going to die..."

"Well, good news. I'm very much alive" he hugs back. "Come on. Let's go find mirror you" he says. We kept going until mirror me appeared, pushed me to the ground and choked me. I struggled for air. Joanan sliced her head off with his sword. I pushed her body off of me and got up. I took a second to take in as much air as possible.

"You have successfully made it through the mirror world. Congratulations, you will be sent home momentarily" a disembodied voice says. We both smiled.

"We can go home!" I say excitedly. He kissed me and I kiss back. We pull away. "I can't wait to see you when I get to your house"

"I can't wait either..." Suddenly I was pulled into the room of crystal clear water with one mirror in the middle. I was pulled through the mirror and into my room. I look around and nothing looked to be a trick. I'm back! I call mom and dad.

"Krin!" They yell through the phone.

"I'm back!"I say.

"What happened to you?" Mom asks.

"I'll tell you another time. By the way I'm coming to live down where you are."

"Really?!" They say in unision.

"Yeah"

"What made you decide to move?" Mom asks.

"I have a boyfriend that lives around there"

"A boyfriend?!" Dad says angrily.

"It's ok dad. Once I tell you everything you'll like him" I tell him. "I'm going to go pack now so call you later"

"Bye" they say.

"Bye" I say. I can't wait to meet Riley...
