Tears fell. God, it burns! Joanan was shocked.
"I hate you mirror me" she says.
"What a shock!" I say sarcastically.
I held out my hand. Joanan didn't grab it.
"Why did you help me?" He asks.
"I can't just save people?"
"You have an actual reason."
"I don't..."
"You're lying."
"So?" I say.
"Why are you lying to me?" He asks.
"You do the same"
"Please just tell me" I huff.
"Fine. Your family needs you. I don't have anyone that needs me. Your daughter needs you. If you died before you could escape then she wouldn't have her father. Every child needs their parents. Since apparently your wife isn't there...This child atleast needs her father. I guess I just felt bad for her."
"You don't even know Riley..."
"I know..." I walked closer to him. "Get up. We don't have time for more questions."
He took my hand. I helped him up and grabbed the bookbag. I walked up to the triangle statue and placed the prisms in the prism shapes that was carved into it. Suddenly a bright light came from the stone, blinding me. When the light finally dimmed we were back in the dark hallway. Suddenly I felt super tired. I began to feel dizzy. I tripped over my own feet. Joanan caught me. I fought to keep my eyes open but failed. Everything went black. I woke up to see Mirror Me standing over me.
"Why did you save him?" She asked.
"The girl needs her father" I tell her.
"You humans are so interesting." She says. "Fine then, why don't you ask him about his wife?"
"It's none of my business"
"Fine. I'll let you see what happened to her later"
"How long are you going to keep me here?"
"As long as I want" she says. I got that vision feeling again. They were taking their daughter to the park. She was having fun and playing around as she should until there was a gun shot. Everyone began running including them. His wife had his daughter in her arms. "Keep running no matter what happens" he told his wife while they still ran. Joanan turned around to help a little kid who lost his parents. The kid was too shocked to move. He picked up the kid and ran away. Joanan then felt a pain in his arm. He put the kid down as gently as possible and told the kid to run. The kid did as he was told and ran away. Joanan then felt more pain in his back. He fell to the ground and laid there in pain. The vision ended and I woke up in one of those rooms painted one color.
