"Alright, swing at me" he says.
"What?! Are you crazy?"
"Trust me, it's ok" I swing at him lazily and he dodges easily. "Try this time"
"Ugh..." This time I actually tried but made sure I could stop the sword if he couldn't dodge quick enough. He dodged everything easily. I kept trying until I was tired. I was out of breath and Joanan seemed fine. I stuck the sword in the ground and leaned on Joanan.
"How are you not tired?" I ask. He shrugged.
"Let's sleep. Tomorrow you can teach me how to use a bow."
"Ok"
The next day I woke up and his arm was around me. He only did that in the cave...o-kay. He did it yestarday too. I don't have a problem with it. I like it actually. I move his arm and get up. Before I got to walk away I felt something grab my wrist. For a second I freaked out then realized it was Joanan.
"Didn't I tell you not to move my arm?" He said. He looked at me annoyed.
"I was just going to go out and-"
"Wait until I'm fully awake. It will not happen again..." He said.
"But-"
"It will not happen again"
"Fine..." I sit back down and wait until he is fully awake. He gets up.
"Alright, now we can go" I grab my bow and we walk outside. I teach him how to hold it first. Then how too aim. This took him a while. It wasn't that he was bad at it. He just needed practice.
"A little higher" I tell him. He did so and shot. It went straight into the middle of the target I carved in the tree. "Nice!"
"Yeah...I guess" he said.
"Is there something wrong?" I ask.
"I just wanted to get it on my own though. Everyone you help, it hits. Every time you don't, it doesn't hit."
"All you need is practice. It's fine"
"Okay..." He says sounding disappointed.
