Chapter Eight

Kimmee's P.O.V

I enjoyed working at the music store.I gave piano lessons to kids everyday.Each child had a different schedule and appointments.I loved all of the children.Currently the store was empty except for me and my co-worker.His name was Charles and he seemed like a great guy.We grew pretty close after the first few days.He was cleaning up the instruments while I worked with the piano.Each note came to me easily.While my fingers danced on the keys I lost myself in the music.Everything was perfect until my hand stopped all together.I once again became motionless and breathless.The burning sensation returned to my body along with the suffocation.My veins started to show and the blood within turned clear.That was odd.My chest began to hurt.It felt as if my heart was decaying.I couldn't feel anything but the pain in my chest.I was glad that Charles noticed my distressed figure.He grabbed my phone and called the emergency contact.Harry.I couldn't really hear the words leaving his mouth.I could only focus on the pain going through me.

It wasn't long until Harry had me laying in his lap.He looked at me strangely.I tried to focus on his face but all I saw was blackness.My vision left.Had I gone blind?This can't be happening.I also couldn't hear anything.I mean nothing.How would I play the piano if I was deaf and blind?This had to be a nightmare.I started to shake furiously.I was no longer in control of my body.I felt a gust of air and knew Harry had taken me outside.I could feel myself being lifted into a car.I blacked out before we left the store.

Harry's P.O.V

These changes were worrying me.I knew they were actually killing her but how does she deal with it.She still has a few more changes left.Tomorrow will be the day she changes completely.Those changes won't hurt her as badly as the recent ones.

I had to take her home.She can't go through more changes outside of the house.It would be to risky.As soon as the flesh eaters find out,they won't stop at anything to kill her.Considering she is now the leader,she will have to take control.I've called up all of the vampires like us from around the world.They will soon be here to help build our army and to make it stronger.We will all have to fight the flesh eaters in order to protect her.I hate how I'm the one who has to explain what has happened to her after her last changes occur.

Kimmee's P.O.V

I woke up with my vision and hearing again.The weird thing was I swear I could hear and see better.I could hear a chipmunk rustling in the grass outside when I'm inside.That is cool but weird.I can see the tiny drops of dew lying on the crisp leaves.What happened to me.I looked around the room for anybody.Niall passed by and I called him in."Yeah.What's up?"He said with a suspicious look."Um is it weird that my vision and hearing are way better than before?Is that even normal?"He gulped and spoke."Yes it's normal for our kind.I mean for all of us.Nothing new uh gotta go.Bye."With that he turned and left at a fast pace.What did he mean,our kind?Oh well.I got up from my position and walked downstairs.Harry was in the kitchen cooking breakfast."What are we having?"He turned and smiled."Venison."I quirked an eye brow."Is that the only thing you guys eat?I've actually never seen any of you eat something other than deer meat."He chuckled."We don't like anything else.But I will make you some eggs and bacon."I smiled knowing I didn't have to eat deer.

Everybody walked in as soon as he finished cooking.He sat their plates down and began on my food.They all began to eat while I waited patiently for my food.Once he was finished he gave me my food and sat beside me.I took a bite and gagged.It tasted horrible.I pushed my plate away and everybody smirked."Do we have any cereal?"Harry nodded.I excused myself and made a bowl of cereal.The first bit also tasted horrible.So I made a piece of toast.The same thing happened."Uggh can I have some venison that's left over?"They all nodded.I prepared myself to gag.I popped the deer in my mouth and fell in love.It was delicious.I have never liked deer meat but that was awesome.They all laughed at me eating.I stuck my tongue out and sat back down beside Harry."Why does everything taste horrible?"They all laughed.I just brushed it off my shoulder.

I was actually glad I didn't have to got tom work.I was tired and didn't want to go in today.I was about to brush my teeth when my mouth started to hurt.I felt like my teeth had been knocked out of it.I looked in the mirror and noticed my teeth had grown to a sharper point.Weird.I also noticed how pale I was.I hope I wasn't getting sick.I brushed my teeth and went to talk to Harry."Harry.Why do I look different?"He looked up from his book and smiled."Because you have fully changed.Do you know about your family's legend?"I looked at him shocked."How do you know about that?"He smiled."Well let me explain."
