Chapter Nine

Harry's P.O.V

After I explained everything,she looked at me in shock."So what you are saying is that you and me and all the others are vampires?"I walked up to her and sat beside her,grabbing her hand while doing so."Yeah.I'm sorry we couldn't tell you before.We all knew you were the one so we kinda couldn't."She nodded and laid her head on my shoulder."So we are kinda like humans because we sleep,eat deer only,and drink water."I nodded and told her "But we are vegetarian vampires because we don't eat human we save them from flesh eaters.We can run fast and can change a human but only by taking control of their minds.We are harmless though."She smiled and stood up bringing me with her."Well since I'm the new Chief and you're the leader,does that mean that we are soul mates an will one day get married?"I smiled and nodded.She did the same.

I'm glad that her transformation was over and done with.Now none of us have to hide anything from her.She still could live her life and looked human.She agreed to move her with us all.She would share a room with me and would sleep with me.The entire group was together now.Those from other places from around the world met her and enjoys her as our chief.She got accquainted with them all and is happy to be our chief.Everybody was taking shifts of guarding the house.If something happened to her than we would all vanish into thin air.None of us could let that happen.We needed her more than we needed anything else.Our lives depended on it.

Kimmee's P.O.V

I don't really know what to think about everything.I'm a freakin vampire and nobody had really told me until now.My parents told me of a legend but not about what I would become.I'm fine I guess with everything though because I can still live a regular human life.The only exception is what I can do.I have to live with Harry and the others for the rest of my life,which I find is great.I really like them all plus I get to stay with my boyfriend.One day we are to get married.The thought alone made me smile.When we were talking about it,he smiled.I knew that I was in love with him.It wasn't just because of the legend but it was also because Harry is everything I've ever wanted.

I was glad that the secret was out and I no longer had to go through any kind of pain.It still was fresh in my mind that I was and will for the rest of my life be a vampire.Luckily I'm one of the good ones.

It was getting late so I decided to take a little walk before it got dark.I grabbed my purse and walke out the door.I hadn't even reached four feet when a body appeared right beside me.I turned my head to see Harry walking along side of me."Where are you going baby?"I smiled at the nickname."Just going for a stroll.Care to join?"He nodded and grabbed my hand.We began our little walk.It was a nice silent and peaceful walk.I soaked it all up.The silence was broken when I heard an ear piercing scream coming from over by the docks.Me and Harry ran over towards the docks.What was weird is that we were many miles away,so why could we hear the screams?"I know what you're wondering.It's because of our super hearing ability."I nodded.It didn't take long to get there because of our fast running.The screams continued.I saw Harry push a guy off of a young girl no older than me.I ran to her and pulled her into my arms."Shhh.You're okay."I cooed to her.She sobbed into my arms while clinging onto me.I felt so sorry for her."Get out of here.You don't belong.This is our territory!"Harry screamed out to the man.I took the girl away so that Harry could finish off the flesh eater.She shouldn't see that.Only I could hear the internal screams coming from the flesh eater.The girl jad no clue that her attacker was being brutely murdered only feet away."Thannk yoouuu fffooorrr sssavviiinnggg mmme."She managed to stutter out.I smiled an kissed her head."Sweety it's our job."With that she ran off but not without thanking us once more.

I hadn't noticed Harry had returned to my side until I felt his welcoming arms wrap around me.I turned to face him. "So this is what we do.What happens once they die."He sighed."They vanish and never come back.That night I was late I was protecting you from James.I made him back off because he was stalking you because you were the chosen chief."I chuckled."Why didn't you just tell me?"He frowned and said "You wouldn't understand then and you would have been afraid."I looked at him shocked."Would not."He chuckled at my childish reply."Ok let's go home."So we walked over to the house and was there in 5 minutes.
