Elena's POV

I wore a simple mint blue sun dress with cute black sandals and braided my hair to the side.

We were boarding the ship today, I dragged my luggage behind me while carrying my duffel bag with my other arm down the pier under the beautiful sunset and puffy pink clouds. Kol caught up to me and grabbed my duffel bag insisting to carry it for me while I smiled at him.

Just when the guy at the entrance asked us for our tickets and ID, Caroline came.

"Surprise!" she exclaimed.

Klaus smiled and hugged her while Rebekah rolled her eyes.

"How'd you get here?" Rebekah asked.

"Well, I didn't wanna leave Klaus in the cruise all bored so I decided, Hey why not join them? So I did." she says.

"I don't really think her be all that bored, I mean, Kol, Elena, Matt, and I are here. Besides that, there are a billion activities here but at least you're here now." Rebekah replied.

"Yay!" Rebekah whispered to me sarcastically.

I stifled a smile and just carried on with giving the man my ticket.

We were redirected to the second floor where all the rooms were.

"There are three rooms so, Matt and I can share one, Klaus and Kol in the second, and Caroline and Elena." Rebekah noted.

Oh god.

"Maybe we I can stay in Klaus's room and Kol can share with Elena." Caroline suggested.

I didn't have a problem with that, I mean Kol was really nice and he's good company, so I nodded.

"Okay then have fun people, Bye." Rebekah says after she hooked her arm around Matt and waved away.

Not what I expected, but whatever, there's tons of things to do, maybe I can go to the water park.

"Would you like to have dinner with me?" Kol asks.

"How about the water park first?" I ask.

"That was my first thought but since it's just the first night of the cruise, it's not opening until tomorrow. So wanna stuff your face with me? They have a buffet?"

I laughed, "Sure why not?"

We headed to the elevator that led to the third floor where the buffet was at.

It was beautiful, it was on the deck, and the sky was just perfect. They also had so much food, even a chef that made crepes for dessert. Everything was delicious and I was full.

"I'm gonna head back to our room, are you coming?" I ask Kol.

"You can go ahead, I think I'll explore a little bit first."

I nodded and made my way back.

Umm where's our room? This was too confusing, I forgot our room number. Usually each room card opened a different door so I could've just tried each one but since Rebekah bought some sort of group package, all of our cards could randomly open any of the rooms our group stayed at.

Rebekah and Matt's was 213 so ours was either 214 or 215. I think it was room 215.

I slid the card through the door and opened it to see nothing but darkness. I tried to feel the wall and look for a switch but I walked right into a wall and hit my head.

I fell to the floor then I heard shuffling and the lights turned on.

Klaus was standing in front of me, shirtless.

"Elena?" he asked.

"Oh my god, sorry, I didn't know this was your room."

"What happened to your head?"

Huh? I touched my head and was surprised when I found some blood.

"Oh, that. I was trying to find a light switch but I may have banged my head right at the wall."

He started laughing but I glared at him.

"Why are you laughing? My head is throbbing and I think I'm starting to see dots but you're standing there mocking me." I say, getting slightly angry.

He tried to stop laughing, then held his hand out. I reached for it but I felt dizzy, luckily he caught me but my face was on his bare chest.

"Whoa, are you okay?"

"Umm I think so.. I guess I just hit my head too hard."

He smiled helped me sit on the bed. Then he grabbed went to the bathroom for a small towel and started wiping my forehead. Thankfully, it wasn't too much blood but it still hurt.

The door whooshed open and Caroline came in asking, "What happened?"

"Nothing, I just accidentally came in the wrong room and hit my head." I explain.

She was staring at Klaus who was staring at my with careful eyes.

"Umm I should going, thanks for the help Klaus." I gave him a smile and left.

Well that was embarrassing. I walked back to room 214, where Kol was resting on the bed, reading.

The rooms looked common, white paint, a fancy chandelier, a fluffy beige carpet in the middle, a bed, the bathroom doors, and big glass doors that led to the fancy balcony with some plants. The room was pretty big, there was also the big flat screen TV and mini fridge next to the small kitchen and some chairs and a table.

"What happened to your head?" Kol asked.

I explained my clumsiness and stupidity and he smirked.

"Well I'm sure your head still hurts, you should go to bed." I gave him a smile and headed to the bathroom to change into furry pajamas and a black tank top and brush my teeth.

When I finished I went back to the room only to realize there was only one bed.
