Prompt: Virgil and Roman (back when they dislike each other) switch bodies (prompt from my own head, that's right I'm creative)

(I honestly have no clue how they would switch bodies so bear with me)

Roman woke up to a dark room filled with cobwebs. After a moment of confusion, he realized where he was. Anxiety's room.

"Why would I be in here?" He wondered aloud. Then, looking down at himself, he realized he wasn't wearing his own pajamas. Stepping over to a mirror, he gazed at his reflection... and screamed.

Why do I look like Anxiety!? He thought. This isn't good.

As he walked away from the mirror, he tripped over the too-long pajama pants he wore. As he fell, he helplessly grabbed at a desk, knocking off almost everything that sat on its surface. One thing caught his eye- a purple notebook, with "My Diary" scrawled on the front in black Sharpie.

I shouldn't.

Screw it.

Roman grabbed the diary and flipped to the most recent entry.

July 8, 2017

Why does everyone hate me? I mean, Patton's okay. But Logan obviously doesn't like me very much, and Roman... Jesus Christ. Roman hates my guts. He's constantly putting me down, and even though I act like it doesn't bother me... He's right. I'm worthless. Nobody wants me around. So what's the point? I don't think I'm going to show up in the next video. It's not like anyone will miss me.

Roman's face paled. He didn't know it was possible for Virgil's face to get any whiter, yet it did.

I never knew how much my words affected him...

SCENE CHANGE YAY

Virgil opened his eyes and immediately slammed them back shut.

"Why is my room so bright?" He groaned.

He sat up and looked around.

Crap.

This isn't my room.

He gazed around Roman's room. It didn't look good. Things were thrown on the floor, almost as if he'd had a fit of rage. And... oh. He'd broken his trophies.

What could possibly have caused this? Virgil wondered.

Wait... if I'm in Roman's room, does that mean Roman's in my room?

Oh god.

He ran out of the room and threw his door open. Sure enough, there was Roman. Reading his diary. And... crying?

"Anxiety..." he said, looking up at him. "I'm... I'm so sorry!" He leapt up and threw his arms around Virgil.

"What...?"

"I didn't know how much my words meant to you," Roman said, sobbing. "I... I didn't know... I don't hate you, Anxiety. Not one bit. Please don't... don't leave!"

Virgil was shocked. He merely stood there, speechless.

"Wait." Then he remembered what Roman's room looked like. "So yeah, I have problems, but what about you? Why does your room look like that? Why'd you break your trophies?"

Roman pulled back and bit his lip. "Um... it's just..." he trailed off.

"Roman," Virgil prodded.

"It's just, everyone expects me to be perfect. Roman never has problems. Roman never doubts himself. I just... I can't do it. I can't."

"Oh..." Virgil wasn't sure what to say. "Look, you shouldn't have to worry about their expectations to this point. You're allowed to have issues. No one's going to hate you for it. And, if you ever need..." Virgil hesitated. "I'm just down the hall."

Roman slowly smiled. He threw his arms around Virgil.

"Thank you so much... and same to you. I'm always here."

Virgil smiled and hugged Roman back.

Welp, there today's story! Now I need to go write more lol

Edit: I just read this again and holy crap this is extremely rushed... I'll probably edit it at some point.
