"Yaya! Pabukas po ng pinto" Maine shouted seating on the floor and reading some motherhood magazine while munching chips on the bowl.

"Hoy babae!" Pat
"Ohh tagal niyo naman, nakailang page na ako" reklamo ni Maine habang himas himas sa tyan niya.
"Ay sorry po madam, may pasok po kasi kami" sabi ni Val at saka umupo sa couch "hey babe, malamigan ka naman dyan"

"Maupo ka nalang sa couch Meng, baka manakit balakang mo. Saka diba dapat healthy food?" Sabi naman ni Pat and help Maine to sit on the couch.
"Healthy naman yan, malunggay chip yan try niyo"
"Haha no thanks, nakaligo kana ba? Anong oras ba check-up mo?" Tanong ni Val.
"Hmmm 3pm pa naman e, kumain na ba kayo? Nagpaluto ako ng nilaga"

The girls headed to the kitchen to have some late lunch already with Maine.

"Hi tita" she greeted Val mom which is was her OB and pedia soon too.
"Lets go inside na so we can check you and your baby?"
"Mom can we come too?"
"Yah sure. Wear this Maine" inabutan siya ng isang scrub suit ng mommy ni Val.

"Hmmm how are you these days?" Tanong nito habang nilalagyan ng gel ang tyan ni Maine "And? Asan si Alden pala?"
"Finals na po kasi nila, medyo busy siya. Okay naman po sumusunod naman po ko sa oras ng vitamins, kaso minsan talaga ang sakit ng balakang ko parang matigas ganun po"
"Hmmm normal lang yun, contraction ang tawag dun. Lumalaki ang balakang mo kaya ganun, preparation yun ng katawan mo para sa paglaki ng baby mo"
"Ahh ganun pala, so normal lang po ba yun? Minsan kasi naiiyak nalang ako minsan pa nga gusto na akong dalin ni Alden sa hospital dahil nga naninigas talaga"
"Pwede naman hot compress o kaya hilot na sobrang light lang to ease the pain. You are now in your 8th week Maine you should take long rest, more bed rest and healthy eating"

A tear suddenly fell on Maine's eye.

"You hear it?" The doctor asks her.
"Hmmm. Its amazing"
"It will developed more fast and louder on the 11th ok? Hoping Alden can come with you so he can hear it also"
"Opo, sabihan ko siya" she says looking at the monitor and wiping her tears.

After Maine get up and put her clothes on, she and her friends bid goodbye to Val's mother.

"So were we to now?" Val asks.
"Lets go somewhere to eat? You want Maine?"
"Yah sure. Lets go"

They headed somewhere in South away from the city.

"Hey? Where are we?" Maine asks as she fix herself from her nap.

"Haha sleepy head, so we decided to go somewhere South because you fell asleep"

"Hala! Anong oras na? Baka umuwi na si Alden. Teka? Shit. Oh my sorry baby, mommy didnt cursed oh what now?!" She is roaming her bag and at the same time crying frustration or what kind of hormone is that when you are pregnant?! Mapapatay ako ni Alden.

"Hey hey hold on. What happen?"

"Val? Can you ask tita if I drop my phone somewhere in the clinic?"

"You missing your phone?" Pat asks and look at Val.
"I think so? Or I forgot it sa bahay?"

"Baka sa bahay?" Val says and park in a parking lot in front of a restaurant "kasi kung sa hospital kay mommy, tumawag na agad yun"

"Geez, please do text Sam or Je naman to tell Alden Im with you girls, or please message Alden too"

"Okay copy" they both answer in chorus and took their phone out.

"Oh cmon na, lets go inside na" Pat announce and get down sa car.

Third Persons POV
"Ano? Mauna ka?" Pat asks Val pagkababa nila, Maine still fixing and putting back together her things inside her bag.
