Elsie Snow is the bastard daughter of the Stark's Horse Master. Her father, Horse Master Hullen, never married and had all five of his children by whores from Mole's Town. Harwin is Elsie's eldest brother, he is a guardsman in the Stark household. Joseth is their father's apprentice and will take over as Master of Horse when their father dies. And Elsie's two elder sister are Bandy and Shyra, who are twins and who work as scullery maids in the kitchens of Winterfell. Elsie is a brilliant child who learns quickly. She loves horses, and she loves helping Bran understand the histories and other important things that Maester Luwin teaches him. At the young age of six she is not expected to do much around the house so she is free to play with Bran all day long, and there is nothing she would rather do. She loves Bran, and his family, possibly more than she loves her own family.
