Tyrion Lannister is the youngest son of Lord Tywin Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock, Warden of the West, and previously the Hand of the King. To everyone besides his family he is know only as the Imp of Lannister, or the Dwarf, or other names or a more derogatory nature. His mother died giving birth to him, which his father and sister have never let him forget. His brother, on the other hand, has always tried his best to show Tyrion that he cannot be blamed for the death of their mother. High born ladies die in childbirth all the time. Its a fault in the breeding of High born ladies. Tyrion has been working with his brother to reign over Casterly Rock as their father tries to move into retirement. Tyrion has always had a love for whorehouses, as he can always produce enough coin to manufacture love and affection, but recently he has found a whore who doesn't need any coinage to show him affection. Her name is Mariya Hill, a bastard girl who happens to be blind after an attempted murder by her mother who tried to poison her. While she survived she could no longer see, and there is no reversal to her plight.
