I walked through the front doors of school when I saw him talking to someone, when I looked at him long enough he caught my eye I immediately turned my face like I hadn't seen him, I was scared and upset I wanted to apologise but it was to hard.
"Emily now's your chance" I looked at her petrified
"Go Emily" she said again
I started walking towards him when he looked at me and walked towards me
"Listen I'm sorry about the other nigh-
And before I could finish he put his arm around me and held me with so much love in his heart I could almost feel it, I hugged him back and closed my eyes, when he let go he said
" Can you forgive me?"
"Yeah, only if you can forgive me"
We hugged again then went to class.
"So I'm assuming that went well?"
I looked at her with a shy look on mine
"Yeah it did" I pushed up my glasses
"Ok let me walk you home" she grabbed me and we walked home.
When I walked up the steps I looked over and saw to guys fighting one with blonde hair and one with brown, and to me they seemed like they could be Miles brothers, I squinted to look closer but they we're gone I tried to ignore it so I went inside.
"Oh my gosh that was close!" One of them said
"Yeah"
they we're both panting heavily hiding behind the tree.
"Hi Miles"I said when I called him "
so what do your brothers look like?"
I was pacing around my room
"Uhhh one has blonde hair and looks super nerdy"
"Ok, ok" I kept saying
"And one has brown hair that he's trying to grow out"
"Ok, ok, So do you live right next to my house?"
" Emily are you ok?"
"Just answer my question please"
"No we don't we live in the rich neighborhood remember?"
"Uhh yeah, ok, so, why we're your brothers fighting in front of my house then?"
The line went silent
"Uhh I-I-I don't know, are you sure?"
"Pretty sure" I said scared to death
"Well I'll show you a picture of them when I see later,ok?"
"Ok"
I hung up the phone and sat down
My knee was moving so rapidly my heart couldn't keep up, I was scared, I was horrified,I was lost in my thoughts. Then there was a knock on my door
"Hey honey"
"Yeah mom?"
"I'm gonna go see Destiny if you want to come?"
"Uh yeah I'll go"
I hurried and grabbed my purse then left my room looking around hoping this would not be my last time in here.
