I waited until Yuuma left for his daily work out which was about five in the evening. As soon as he left I walked up to his house. I knocked on the door hoping that the boy would answer. But instead it was the sister. she was pretty and her smile was even prettier.
"Uh hi, can I help you?" She asked in a sweet voice.
"Uh I'm Fukase, Im your new neighbor" I said
"Oh, Ia has talked about you" She said
"Whats your name?" I ask
"Oh my I'm sorry, You can call me V" She said with a smile
"Is there anyway we could see Ia?" I ask
"Hmm maybe" V said
"Well what is it?" I ask
"We got invited to a party but none of us really want to go" V said
"I can give your brother and Ia mine and Yuuma's invitations" V added
"Great! I know my brother would love to see Ia again. We'll make it up to you" I said
"Don't worry about it" She said with a weak smile
"Whats wrong?" I ask
"Its Yuuma, he isn't trying to be a jerk he is just over protective and our mother told him to look out for us before she died" V said sadly
"Y-Y-You've lost someone important?" I asked
"Yea, our father is in jail and should be out anytime soon" V said
"Why is your father in jail?" I ask
"He is a alcoholic and abused us" V said
"Now since I have answered some of your questions maybe, you can answer one of mine" V said
"sure" I said
"How come your called a monster boy?" She asked
"Who told you?" I ask
"Its over the city" V said
I moved the hair away from my eye and showed her my scars. she gasped so I hid them again
"Im sorry" I said
"Don't apologize for your scars, I gasped because it looks like it used to hurt" v said sweetly
"It used to but now the only pain I get is the name calling from it" I said
V gave me a hug I kind of shrugged her off though
"Sorry not much of a hugger" I said
"Neither am I but I felt like this one was needed" V said
"You'll be going to school, wont you?" I asked her
"Yea" She answered.
Just then Yuuma came in the drive through.
"Run" V said calmly
Yuuma still didnt notice me so I ran around the back where V led me. I ran to my room and acted like id been there the whole time.
