"You fang, nudge, we're going roof top, you wanna come?" Lance asked as he kept his promise and let the two stay in a sanctuary as they where given blankets and pillows for the couch.

"Roof top?" Nudge raised an eye brow as Lance grabbed his light brown guitar with a blue flower painted at the bottom.

"Star gazing," hunk grabbed a box of gold fish walking out and Keith was carrying red on his shoulders following silently as Pidge took off her headphones and smiled walking out.

"I'll go!" Nudge smiled following and fang walked with her in case something where to happen up there to her. No more missing sisters. Five pairs of wings opened and hunk climbed the ladder as everyone sat on the roof while Lance easily pointed out constellations to nudge as she was in awe. The stars where so bright out here.

"Do you actually play?" She looked at Lance and he nodded. "Oh please play something! I always wanted to listen to guitar live,"

"No one else plays?" Lance chuckled setting the guitar in his lap. They both shook their heads.

"Alright then," Lance smiled at them as Pidge laid down relaxed when Lance began playing a familiar song and Keith watched calmly.

"Little to tall, could've loosed a few pounds," Lance sang softly and nudge squealed clapping a little excitedly as Keith kept his eyes on him and fang glanced at Keith raising an eye brow while hunk snacked laying with Pidge looking at the stars.

"Couldn't understand these words so I just went along," he smirked as some snorted at his joke.

"She was a black hair beauty with big dark eyes!" He sang strongly looking at nudge as she laughed and Keith chuckled under his breath.

"And points all her own sitting way up high," he winked and caught Keiths eye next to fang as the two dark hair boys listened calmly as Lance strum passionately to the song.

"Way up firm and high," he sang goofily.

"Out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy,"

"Out in the back seat of my '60 Chevy, workin' on mysteries without any clues," he strum staying silent for three strums.

"Workin' on our night moves," he hummed smirking.

"Trying' to make some front page drive-in news,"

"Workin' on our night moves in the summertime," Lance looked at the stars as fang glanced at Keith but noticed soft blush on his cheeks watching Lance silently.

"In the sweet summertime," he looked back at Keith and winked a little making Keith blush harder looking away.

"How long have you been playing?" Nudge clapped leaning forward excitedly and fang shrugged at Keith.

"Since I got out," Lance shrugged setting his guitar down. "It was something I did to get my mind off all of it and helps my PTSD in a way,"

"PTSD?" Nudge raised an eye brow. "Oh! Post traumatic stress disorder!"

"Do we have that?" She looked at fang curiously.

"Angel will, but in the back of all our heads it's there," fang said simply not saying anything else.

"How do you get it then?" She smiled goofily.

"From traumatizing experiences, the school, the empire, war for vets," Pidge listed from a few feet away while hunk was sleeping.

"Oh."

"Do you all have it too?" Nudge continued to chat.

"Yea, we went to the empire... It's crazy shit there," Keith stood up and walked off as he jumped to take off into the sky but they knew Lance wouldn't be far behind. When they looked back at the guitar Lance wasn't there anymore.

"Hey maybe Keith won't punch him this time," Pidge laughed to herself.

"Will he?!" Nudge gasped looking at her.

"Maybe, probably,"

"Keith hold on," Lance ran after Keith as he sat in a tree, Corans tree.

"Hey man, what's up? You just left," he looked up at Keith who was pouting.

"She wouldn't stop talking about it," Keith mumbled as he didn't look at lance.

"About the empire? Yea I mean they've never heard of it," Lance shrugged leaning against the tree. Keith jumped down and pushed Lance against the tree.

"Don't you get it?! No one talks about it and suddenly two strangers come around asking all these fucking questions and we answer! They wanted to have us come back for some kid for fucks sake!" Keith yelled at him and Lance stayed calm.

They where always balanced, balancing the other out, Keith was raging so Lance was usually calm, when Lance was breaking down Keith would stay by him touching some part of his body, arm, hand, knee, wing. Keith was darkness and Lance was the light, can't have one without the other.

"I talked with fang, it's going to work out, we don't have to go," Lance said not touching him. He knew his limits and Keiths rage. Hugs would end up with him being dead.

"That's not the point. Some of us have more fucking PTSD than the princess up there who won't shut up! Some of us have done horrible shit!" He placed his hand over his own chest.

"I know Keith," he nodded.

"It just bothers me that she doesn't see how uncomfortable we all about it, it's been two years, we don't need to talk about it," Keith growled turning his back to Lance glaring.

"It's always going to be there, there's just some things... Maybe we should talk about," Lance walked to him and put his hand on Keiths shoulder as he faced him.

"There's nothing to talk about," Keith looked down feeling his stomach doing flips when Lance was only inches away from him.

"Since when have you ever been a lier?" Lance chuckled tucking Keiths hair behind his ear and Keith looked at him with a dark red shade on his cheeks.

"Stop it," Keith pulled away as his heard was thumping in his chest.

"I'm not getting teased, I don't need this, I don't need you Lance to play games," Keith snapped with his hands clenched at his side.

"You really don't need me Keith?" Lance smirked.

"I don't need your games, I still need you," Keith mumbled.

"Are you sure there's nothing to talk about?" Lance grabbed his hand softly feeling the small scar on his pale thumb.

"Yea lover birds, nothing to chit chat about and maybe make up with a kiss?" A voice behind them chuckled and Lance spun around seeing a giant man morphing into a hideous wolf as Keith was behind the fellow teen.

"Hey piggies," the eraser chuckled and Lance grabbed Keiths hand.

"Come on!" Lance jumped into the air bringing Keith up but his wings didn't catch air fast enough like lances and felt the eraser grab his ankle and slammed him back on the ground.

"Keith!" Lance swooped down swinging his foot into the monsters jaw and jumped off his shoulders and back in the air. He dove back down and swooped Keith into his arms as the dark haired boy spat blood back at the eraser wrapping his arms around lances neck.

"I knew it..." Keith whispered seeing trucks in the distance.

"No," Lance looked back with wide eyes as he held Keith.
