The next day the group of mutants went flying as they waited for max to continue. Lance was slightly nervous of meeting her as she seemed intimidating, she was important to the school, maybe that made him even more nervous because she and Jeb where close and Jeb was a back stabbing bitch... Or it could be something else.

"Look it's max!" Nudge gasped happily pointing.

"Max! Max! I can't believe it! Can I believe it?!" She cried as they made their way back to the cliff as the brown eye with blond hair girl eyed up the three new children that joined them.

Fang landed first as everyone followed but just as they did, nudge hugged the taller and older girl quickly as Lance, Keith and Pidge stood there awkwardly but Keith grabbed lances hand, behind the Cuban teen as he almost felt as if they couldn't see him. Pidge grabbed lances other hand watching with wide eyes.

"We where so worried! I didn't know what had happened to you and we didn't know what to do and fang said we were going to eat rats but then we found-" "okay okay, everything okay," max cut nudge off smiling kindly at her but she looked at fang unamused as he smirked for a moment.

"What are you two doing here? And who are you? Why didn't you stay home?" Max went back and forth between the two boys and the three strangers.

"We couldn't, there were erasers all over the mountain! They where hunting for us, we could be dog meat by now," gasman said quickly.

"Erasers found us too," nudge raised her hand looking at Lance who nodded.

"When did they start hunting for you? Right after we left?" Max focused on Gazzy and iggy.

"No..." Gazzy said slowly.

"What?" Max looked suspicious. "When did they start coming after you?"

"Was it... Was it after the oil slick hummer crash?" Gasman looked back at iggy confused as the blind teen rubbed his chin thinking.

"Or maybe it was more after the bomb?" The youngest said quietly looking down.

"I think it was the bomb," iggy nodded agreeing. "That defiantly seemed ticked them off,"

"What kind of bomb?" Pidges face brightened.

"Bomb?" Max said incredulously. "Bomb?! You guys set off a bomb?! Didn't that tell the erasers exactly where you were? Hih should have stayed hidden!" She cried.

"They already knew where we were," Gazzy explained. "They'd seen all of us, they knew we were in the area,"

"It was just a matter of time," iggy shrugged.

Max seemed irritated and shocked as she debated in her head on how to react. Her brown eyes flickered to the three as Lance seemed calm as his shoulders where relaxed trying to show her they weren't a threat by hiding his family behind him more even if they already where trying to, but Pidge seemed more relaxed with the flock as she was side by side.

"I'm just glad you two are safe," she sighed at her boys but finally turned to the others making nudge tense up and fang almost defensive seeing their body language strong.

"Now who are you?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Not so different I promise you that," Lance said with a small smile.

"Where are you from?" She stepped forward and Lance did the same but Keiths fingers desperately wrapped around his but Pidge stayed still.

"Where do you think..." Lance whispered dropping his smile and max looked at the two behind him.

"School," she nodded.

Nudge wanted to tell her they where a little different but fang grabbed her shoulder shaking his head at the three of his flock telling them to say nothing.

"We stayed with them for a while, the erasers found us and they attacked their home, they lost some of their family too, after we rescue angel we where going to find Allura, Shiro and hink," nudge finally gave in as much as she could.

"They know how to help," fang sighed trying to back her up.

"If you can fight? How long have you escaped the school?" Max looked at them sharply as she was suspicious.

"Two years ago, our trackers where cut out so we thought we where safe, I don't know if we ever were," Lance smiled sadly showing her his arm and max looked at her with a small gulp.

"And you can still use your arm? Isn't taking it out incredibly hard?" Max scoffed.

"Our friend Allura is a doctor," Lance explained.

"Are all of you like us?" She asked.

"More or less, my brother hunk doesn't have wings but is like us with everything else, not all of us are from a test tube," Lance motioned to Pidge with a shrug.

"And you'll help go back to save our own?" She glared. It seemed like a trap.

"Not at first, but when erasers took our sanctuary then why not destroy their own," Keith pursed his lips.

"This is Pidge, Keith, and I'm Lance," the Cuban held out his hand for max as she looked at it glaring.

"Did erasers follow you?" Max looked up at him.

"Not that we know of," Lance smirked as his ocean blues showed only truth as max stared at him harshly.

"You both, and max, and angel while she's still young," Jeb smiled.

"I'm not leaving without hunk and Pidge," a Cuban child's lip quivered with wide eyes.

"I'm not leaving Lance," another boy who was pale and small stomped his foot.

"Jeb?" Max walked over as as the pale took a step back from her but the Cuban gulped.

"Boys please," Jeb begged as he reached for them but the blue eyed boy flinched.

"Let's get the others, I promise you'll be okay," Jeb smiled comfortingly at them. The two boys looked at each other with wide eyes but back at Jeb as he slowly took his hand and kept the pale boys in hand as well.

"Pinky promise?" The Cuban sniffled as the Korean trembled in confusion and rage not knowing what was going on.

Max watched them with pity in her eyes as they where so determined to stay together, almost as if they'd die without the other.

"Alright, but you get one chance, we don't accept strangers," max nodded turning away back to her family.

"Neither do we," Lance clasped Keiths hand tightly keeping his eyes on her.
