I Do.

I hadn't seen Justin since the 26th, since it's traditional not to see your spouse the day before the wedding. Not being with him reminded me of how much he meant to me and how I couldn't live without him.

The music began playing, and my niece, who was 5, threw flower petals down on the hot, summer sand leading the path that I would walk down that aisle.

When I first stepped out into Justin's sight, he began bawling. Like I was an angel sent to save him. We told each other our vows, and placed our rings on one another's fingers.

"I do."

"I do."

"I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. McDavis. You may now kiss the bride." the preacher said with the softest, kindest voice.

Justin flipped my vail over my head and leaned in and kissed me. He carried me back down the aisle and we danced the night away at the ceremony.

I'm a McDavis. I'm married to my best friend. It was hard to process that my best friend was now my husband. The boy I met in 3rd period was now the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
