My mother opened her mouth to begin to explain when my father came walking through the I door.
"I believe I can answer all of your questions dear. You may need to sit down darling, this is going to being a lot to take in." My father stated abruptly.
"You see, y/n, when we adopted you the woman at the orphanage told us that your biological parents were a witch and a wizard, you mothers name was Ophelia Riddle, and your fathers was Tom Riddle. We had taken this information and swore that we wouldn't tell any one, not even you dear that you were a witch until you had gotten your letter." My father continued.
I stared at him. Surely this couldn't be real. I must be dreaming, I pinched myself, ouch! Nope definitely not dreaming. Suddenly, I spoke up.
"S-surely you can't believe that I would be a witch right? I-I mean I'm just y/n n-not a w-"
I was cut off my Professor McGonagall this time, "Y/n, there will come a time and place for you to know more, for now you must be prepared for this coming school year! I have told your parents that I would be delighted to accompany you to Diagon Alley for you to get your school books and robes, and whatever else you might need for this coming school year.""O-o-k-ay um so when would we go?" I asked completely flabbergasted.
"Right now dear, come along." Professor McGonagall said as she smiled down at me.
"Oh, um, alright." I said she held her hand out to me and I accepted it, suddenly I felt a yank behind my navel and the next thing I knew we were standing in the middle of a packed street!
