I was staring out the window of the Hogwarts Express when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I jumped, startled by the breaking of my concentration. I looked in the direction of the person who had just tapped me, seeing none other than Draco Malfoy.
"Hey, are you okay, Y/n?" Draco asked.
"Yeah, just ready to go-" I stopped, where was I going? Back to my adoptive parents, who lied to me my entire life about both of our secrets? Or would I be going to the Maddox Manor, with my two siblings, and to the two other people, I had so quickly grown to think of as my family.
"I'm ready to take a break, that's all." I sad, giving him a small smile.
"Alright, if you're sure. I think you go talk to your brother to see where you're staying this summer, he's in compartment #129." Without another word, he walked out of the compartment leaving me, once again, alone.

After speaking with Laurence, I decided that I wanted to stay with the Maddox's and my siblings, and maybe visit the Emery's some time, though only when I said I wanted to. I had moved my bags to the compartment Laurence and Ella were sitting in. We were talking about our plans for the summer when the train came to an abrupt stop. I glanced out the window, looking at the smiling faces of parents standing on Platform 9 3/4. Scanning the crowd, I didn't see the Emery's, who I did see, however, were the Maddox's. I smiled at the sight of their familiar faces and grabbed my bag.
I opened the door to the compartment and stepped out, Laurence and Ella following behind me, bags in hand. Once we were off the train, I immediately headed towards the smiling faces of Saiph and Orion Maddox, they hugged me and said that when we got home they were going to be asking all about Harry and I's facedown with Voldemort, I told them I'd tell them whatever they wanted to know. We rode in a muggle car home, it took about an hour to get all the way to the Maddox Manor. Once we arrived, I ran upstairs to the bedroom I had claimed as mine over Christmas break and set my bag on the bed.
I used the muggle way of unpacking, not being able to find a clear enough translation to what I wanted to do, to make a spell for it. Once I had finally hung up all of my clothes, put my makeup on the vanity, made sure my animals were all settled, and put my phone on my bedside table. I went downstairs, smelling the scents of freshly cooked food.

I was in the greenhouse I had claimed as my new favorite hangout spot, tending to the plants, when I sensed a presence behind me, grabbing my wand out of my boot, I spun around pointing the wand at the person who had just tried to sneak up on me, the tip of my wand slightly poking into their neck. I looked from the pale neck up to a blonde boy who was smiling at me, hands raised in submission.
"Remind me not to try to sneak up on again, you are one scary witch." Draco said, smirking at me. I lowered my wand and pulled Draco into a quick embrace.
"Where have you been! It's been two months and I haven't seen you not once!" I exclaimed while going back to tending to my plants.
"I've been busy, not much time to visit my friends, I've been helping my father with things lately." I rolled my eyes.
"I still think you could've visited me, but I forgive you." I said
"Well, that's good," He said. "So, what are you doing?"
"Well, right now I'm just watering my plants, I've been practicing potions all summer so that Snape doesn't yell at me."
"Makes sense."
