(J writing this) I woke with the sun hitting my face when I felt someone staring at me I turned my head and saw Carl staring at me. I smiled at him "Good morning" he said "Good morning" I said back "I have to get up and start packing because you know" I said "Yea" Carl said looking sad I got up and went to the cell that I shared with my dad. I saw my dad already packing his stuff "Hey" I said "Hey where were you I didn't see you when I woke up" "Ughh I woke up early and walked around the cells" I say as I grab a bag from the floor "Oh okay" he says I go over to my table that I have and start putting the important stuff on my bag. I call max to come which he does and I put on his collar that was on the table. I pause when I see the necklace that Lori had given me. After a few seconds I grab it and put it on and also put the bracelet that Carl had given me back at the farm. But my heart broke when I saw my family picture on the back of the table. I grabbed it and traced my finger around my mom and brother figure before I carefully put it in my bag, I grab my leg holster and put my knife in one of my leg while the gun in the other.I walk out and let max go explore while I go over to Carl's cell and see him staring at his family picture that I had gotten for him back at the run. He just puts the picture in his brown bag and then into another bag so the stuff wouldn't break he picks up a star and looks at it for a while and also puts it in the bag "Hey it's gonna be okay" I say while he nods his head at me and grabs his bag with his hat and walks out. I sigh and go over to Beth who was walking out the cell. We get outside and go over to Maggie's car and open the back trunk and put our stuff in it. Carl comes looking mad and puts his stuff in. I remember that I had forgotten max's food "I need to go back inside" I said to rick with max near my side "No it's too late" he says "You don't understand I need to" I turning around when I feel ricks hand grab me "Let go" I said yanking my arm from his grasp all of the sudden max started to growl and and looked like he was going to lunge at rick quickly I grab max'a collar and pull him back

"Max" I say Rick stays quiet and says" fine" I run back inside and grab Max's food and put it in my bag and walk out to the car I open the door and sat down and told max to jump in which he did and got on my legs. I pulled the window down for him and rick started driving out the prison I looked at everything that we were leaving behind or so I thought Rick started going into the woods and when we got there we all got out the car "Okay you guys stay here while Maggie, Glenn and I with the others go back to the prison" Rick says handing a gun to Beth and my dad "What" Carl and I say at the same time "You guys didn't think we actually leave did you? We are fighting back" rick says smirking Carl and I look at each other smiling "Okay just don't move even if you hear us shooting and remember only shoot when necessary don't shoot randomly" We all nod our heads "Good" rick says turning around running back to the prison where the others were waiting for him while I sat down on the ground petting max. After a while of us just talking about stuff we heard distant gunshots which made Carl get up from where he was sitting and look out to the prison which dad also got up and grabbed Beth and I into a hug and looked out the prison "I should be there" Carl said looking out to the distant " Carl you know your dad wouldn't let you" I said looking at him while he just looked at me with a glare. I could see Maggie shooting and the governor trying to hide into the tank all of them ran into the cars including the governor and started to drive off I saw glen and Maggie appear from their hiding spots "They did it" I said getting up from my dads hug I turn around when I hear fast footsteps and panting coming towards us. Carl quickly pulled out his gun when the kid came to our spot. Dad got up from his hiding spot also "Whoa whoa whoa don't shoot" the boy says "Carl" I say "Drop the weapon, son" dad said also pulling out his gun and pointing it at the boy "Sure" he says "here take it" he looked at Carl straight in his eyes and very slowly started to bend down. They didn't break eye contact at all. All of the sudden Carl shoots at the boy
