Your POV I woke up to the sound of rick calling me "Y/n, y/n" I looked over at him "Come on" he says as he closes my curtain
I walk out to find Carl I smile at him and remember all the things I thought of yesterday
"Another one of my flannels I see" ca l said snapping me out of my thoughts I just shrugged while rick gave a chuckle We walked out of the prison and saw michonne with her horse "Careful out there" rick tells her "Always am. Any request? Books? Comics? Some stale m&m?" She asks "You're the one that likes stale m&m" Carl says "Then I'll definitely be looking for some I'll look for some stuff you guys like too" she says I look at Carl and see that he hasn't worn his hat in a while "Why don't you wear your hat anymore" I ask him "It's not a farming hat" he says He turns to michonne and waves I also wave at her I help around the prison feeding the pigs and stuff when I heard Carl and rick talking when all of a sudden I heard gun shots and Lizzie and Mika came running "Help, help, please come quick" they yelled "Cell block"I heard Maggie yell "I don't know" I yelled back "Get in the tower with Maggie, don't argue go" rick said to us " no Glenns in there I got to go in" I said He hesitated at first but let me go "No y/n you can't"Carl says "I'm sorry but I have to go for Glenn" I say " promise me you will be back" he says "I promise" I say He hesitated at first but let me go We ran to the prison doors "Walkers in D"someone yelled "What about c" I yelled knowing my dad was in there " clear we locked the gates to the Tombs Hershel's on guard" Sasha says "It ain't a breach" Daryl says "We followed the plan" Sasha says We ran to cell block d and I see walkers everywhere one catches my eye Patrick I hold a sob and started stabbing the walkers I look at Patrick and stabbed him he was a great kid he didn't deserve this I stab as many as I can "Are we clear down here" rick yells "Yeah were safe" I say I check up stairs and a walker randomly comes out and attacks Glenn "Get down" I yell I shoot the walker in the head "Are you okay" I asked He nodded as he got up "Thanks" he says I look at the walker and I notice who it was it was one of the people form carols book clubs I go down stairs to help people out and I see Lizzie's and Mika's dad I felt bad I mean I hated Lizzie but I know how it feels to see someone go like that They check over Patrick's body and see he is the only one with no bite or wounds "No bites, no wounds I think he just died" I said looking over his Patrick body one more time "Horribly too, pleurisy aspiration" one doctor said "Chocked to his death by his own blood" my daddy says "Caused those trails down his face" I said "I've seen them before on a walker outside the fences" rick says "I saw them on the little kid too" I said "They're from internal Lung pressure building up like if you shake a soda can and pop the Top Only imagine your eyes, ear nose and throat are the top" the doctor says "It's a sickness from the walkers " bob asked "No these things happened before they were around could be pneumococcal most likely an aggressive flu strain so,some locked him in just in time" the doctor said "No man Charlie used to sleepwalk" Daryl says "Locked himself in, hell he was just eating barbecue yesterday" I said "Y/n language" my dad says "How could someone die in one day from a cold" Daryl's say "I had a sick pig it died quick" ricks says (Time skip brought to you by when are we going to see Judith kick some ass) We walked out of cell block D what my dad Said really stuck in my head We all been exposed I might have a chance on getting what Patrick got I saw Carl and he came running over to hug me I put my hand out to stop him "Hey you might want to stay back Carl." I said But he still went ahead and hugged me I hugged back but immediately pulled back He started crying "Y/n I'm sorry I didn't see you come out" he sobs "It's okay I'm here I'm fine but back away" I say as I pull out of the hug Maggie talked with rick about what happened and me and Carl talked I started to see blur and I quickly fell into a pair of arms and saw nothing but blackness I ended up on a bed in the infirmary with Carl by my side holding my hand "Carl you need to go I can get you sick" I say letting go of his hand "Y/n I can't lose you, I like you a lot and I just i can't not after my mom please don't leave me" he cries "Carl I'm right here I'm fine I just sick but I'll get better I promise and I like you too"I say "Really" he says "Of course every since the farm" I say "Well will you be girlfriend y/n Greene" he asked "Of course Carl Grimes" I say while smiling "But you for real you have to go I can't have my new boyfriend getting. Sick can I" I say "I guess not I'll see you tomorrow" he says as he kisses my forehead "Yes you will great and healthy" I say He nods and smiles I fell asleep and woke up to Beth signing I felt better and my dad told me I didn't get the flu I was just dehydrated and I was free to go the first place I went to was Carl cell and i didn't see him in there so I looked around for him When I saw him talking to his dad and I see them taking down the pig farm "What happened to the pigs" I said "Y/n your out" Carl say hugging me
