Tyler was still there by the end of the day.
"What happened to leaving?" Marcus muttered, before sitting down at the dining table, where they all were.
Sebastian and Madison had agreed to wait until everyone was there to start asking Alessio questions. After the attack and fire, the entire school was sent home and closed until further notice. Tyler and Geoff had come home with Madison and Sebastian and the boys had all played around with the soccer ball, juggling and dribbling each other.
"I've decided to continue blessing you all with my presence." Tyler announced, a smile on his face. The Tyler that Madison had met only the day before, was back. Cocky and conceited.
Marcus muttered something underneath his breath about Tyler being an asshole, but Tyler clearly ignored it.
"Great cooking," Austin commented, with a thumbs up to Madison.
Madison smiled, "Thanks." She had cooked tonight - spaghetti bolognese. Nothing too complicated, but she assumed they were sick of take-out and pizza.
"Alessio," Sebastian cleared his throat, "How was working at the store?"
"Great," A smile lit up Alessio's face, "Your brothers are really good at what they do."
"Shame that you forgot to mention how good The Dancer was at murdering my dad when you were watching." Sebastian said bluntly.
Marcus almost choked, "Excuse me? He what?"
"Sebastian managed to zoom in on the video, and guess who was in the reflection of Dylan's glasses?" Madison asked in a sugar-coated voice. The table fell silent and Madison watched as Tyler's jaw clenched and unclenched.
"Would you like to explain yourself?" Madison asked, putting down her fork, looking at Alessio. The Ashborne brothers, take away Sebastian, were mostly shocked, waiting for Alessio to speak.
Alessio was pale, "I swear, I have nothing to do with this-"
Tyler was already at Alessio's neck before he could finish, "Why were you there?" He shouted, his anger evident.
"I had no choice!" Alessio shrugged away from Tyler, "I swear, I have nothing to do with this."
"Explain it!" Tyler yelled, shoving Alessio harder. Sebastian stood up and pulled his twin back,
"Calm down, let him talk."
"I swear, if he is even close to being a part of this." Tyler grit his teeth, his fists curling closed. Sebastian sat Tyler down back on his chair and looked over to Alessio,
"Talk. Now."
Alessio took a deep breath, "If he finds out I've told you, he'll kill me."
"He won't find you, just fucking talk." Tyler said, trying to be as calm as possible.
"He came to Madison's apartment while she was at school. He attacked me, and the blood on the wall in Madison's apartment is mine." Alessio explained slowly, "He told me most things, really. He said that he knew which school Madison went to because after murdering her parents, he saw school photos hung up in the basement. He called up an associate who worked at the school to find her new address. That's when he came up to me. He then used my key to Madison's room to unlock it, and he told me to wait there or he'd kill me. So I waited." Alessio paused and breathed in shakily, "You guys have to understand I didn't want to die-"
"-Get on with your shit." Tyler said, giving no time for any emotional additions to his story and Alessio nervously nodded,
"So, he came back with a suitcase and I swear I thought he was going to shove me into it. So I panicked and he straight out knocked me out. And then-"
"-How did the guy look?" Austin asked, brows raised.
"He was wearing a suit and tie, with a green masquerade mask. He was quite tall, built, he had green eyes and dark brown hair." Alessio described and then continued, "Anyway, when I came to, there was a man in a chair in Madison's room and I was confused. The green mask guy told me that he had looped the security feeds before bringing this man up in the suitcase through the elevator."
"How did he get the guy into a suitcase from a mental home?" Marcus scowled, "I mean Dad wasn't weak or anything."
"He drugged him." Alessio said, "He told me he knew about the mental home after he murdered the man's ex-wife. Something about always making sure he knew where his victim's family was. I was still kind of fazed about everything. Anyway, he made me watch the entire murder and swore that if I told anyone, he'd kill me."
"So why would he tell you all of these things?" Austin asked, "It's not making any sense."
"He was boasting about it." Alessio said, "He was proud of the things he had done. He said his first murder was in Morocco, in 2011. And then he spoke about how he had outsmarted even the FBI. He was weird. Not sane. Not all there."
***
It was the same night as Alessio had revealed the works of The Dancer to the Ashbornes and Madison, when a car alarm went off close to the room she was in.
Madison opened her eyes slowly, rubbing them, and slowly sat up, "Alessio, did you hear that?"
There was no reply. Madison looked over and Alessio wasn't there.
Madison bolted out of bed, and ran towards all the boy's rooms, shaking them awake one by one.
"Alessio's gone. He's gone. He's gone." Madison shouted, panicking. She ran towards the front of the house and peered out the curtain, to where she heard the car alarm, that had finally stopped.
Tyler shoved open the front door and the rest of the boys and Madison followed suit.
Near the Ashborne's car, there was a large oak tree.
Hanging from that oak tree was Alessio, wearing a masquerade mask.
