The floor creaked and Seth Daniels smiled.
He knew that Tyler would follow him. He had driven even a bit slower to make sure that he did.
He had tied Madison to a chair in the middle of the one-room cabin, and he noticed she was crying. What a strange thing to do. None of the others had ever cried. He felt something stir deep inside of him, but he ignored it as another creak sounded at the front porch.
"Tyler, are you going to come and help her?" Seth called tauntingly. He had a selection between two weapons. His gun, which was hooked in his belt. And the knife, which he had in his hand. He drew the knife down Madison's arm, drawing blood, and she clenched her teeth together.
"You wouldn't want her to get hurt, would you?"
"Tyler, run. Please, just run." Madison yelled, and Seth quickly shut her up. He drew the knife even further down her arm. Cold water would make this sting. What an idea! He turned to the small kitchen block on the back wall, and turned the tap on, filling a cup with water.
He slowly drizzled it over her cuts and Madison screamed out in pain. He noticed she was trying to stop herself. But he knew more than anyone, that pain was something nobody could ever overcome.
"Tyler, are you scared? Maybe I should have wished for Sebastian to be here with her-"
