Four Months Later
Madison took a deep breath, "I am so nervous."
Sebastian smiled, "Same. Farout. My heart is beating like crazy."
Madison and Sebastian were about to compete as a duo in the finals of one of the biggest dance competition of the country.
After being strapped to a chair in The Dancer's room, Madison had passed out and woke up to the inside of an ambulance. Madison had freaked out, but the paramedics explained that Tyler was fine, and The Dancer was dead.
It had dawned upon Madison then, that Tyler had killed The Dancer, his own uncle. She wasn't sure how everything went down, and she felt as though she would never know.
Tyler had moved states, a few days after the case was officially closed. He hadn't spoken to anyone, he had just moved without warning. No one knew where he moved to, why, what had happened in The Dancer's room that day. All of those secrets had left with Tyler, and Madison wasn't sure if he was ever going to come back.
She missed him, a lot. Things had finally started getting better between them, until that moment when she was scared shitless, a gun to her head. She remembered Tyler's face, the shock yet determination to get her back.
She hadn't seen him after the room. She wished she got to say bye to him, or hug him maybe. Or even tell him that she liked him. She didn't even have his number to send a text message, or give a call. She had cried for nights and nights after he left. For two reasons; the first being from the shock of almost dying. Any deeper, and The Dancer would have cut straight through a vein and she wouldn't have been alive.
Marcus had taken ownership over the dance studio, The Dancer, because for some odd reason, the will left behind by Seth Daniels stated that the possession was to go to his first nephew, and that was Marcus. Marcus was familiar with running businesses though, so his was nothing new to him.
Austin had moved state as well, to pursue his IT dreams. He had been given a job opportunity all the way in Florida, and promised to come back and visit.
As far as everyone was concerned, they were all trying to move on from everything that had happened.
"I just need to quickly check something." Madison said to Sebastian.
He nodded, "Don't be late. We start in five minutes."
Madison quickly walked into her dressing room, and took a check in the mirror. Her make-up was fine, and her tutu looked beautiful. Her heart beat fast. She was doing this for her parents. She and Sebastian were going to try their best to win.
Madison exhaled and suddenly her phone on the dressing table rang.
She picked it up and answered, "Hello?"
There was a long silence before the voice spoke.
"Maddy?"
