It had come as a shock to all the brothers.

Their own uncle was behind all of this. Behind the death of their mom, their dad, their friend. The deaths of four hundred people across the globe.

But why? That was the question they had all been trying to figure out from the minute they saw the news.

"The rumour about The Dancer was that he was jealous of the person who stole the spot light from him when he was a dancer, remember?" Madison said, sitting down at the table with a bowl of cereal.

"Yeah, true." Tyler rubbed his eyes. Marcus was the one who had seen the news first at six in the morning, waking everyone else up, "So why did he kill everyone else though?"

"Insanity?" Sebastian suggested.

"There were dancers murdered before mom." Austin pushed his glasses further up the bridge of his nose, "It doesn't make sense. I hope the FBI have got the right guy."

"I think they do." Marcus nodded, "Uncle Seth disappeared about seven years ago, we should have actually figured out that it was him."

"Why the masks? Why the blades down throats?" Austin raised his brows, "None of it makes sense. Uncle Seth was never violent."

"He was the one who taught me how to dance." Sebastian said quietly, shaking his head slowly, "I don't get it, really. He killed his own sister."

Tyler exhaled, getting up from the table.

"Where are you going?" Sebastian's eyes followed him across the room.

"For a drive." Tyler grabbed the keys.

"I'll go with you." Madison stood up, "I need a breather."

Tyler paused for a few seconds, looking at her, and then nodded slowly, "Alright, let's go."

Madison followed Tyler out the front of the house, and she sat in the passenger seat. Tyler started up the car and reversed out the driveway, and then began driving along the street.

They were both quiet. Madison rolled down the window, and let the whistling of the wind fill the silence.

Using the driver seat controls, Tyler rolled the window up, "It's freezing, Jesus."

"Sorry." Madison muttered, "Just needed some air."

"It's pretty crazy, huh." Tyler said, "I can't believe it was him all along."

"Neither can I." Madison said quietly, "Just proves that family are blood, and only that."

Tyler exhaled shakily, "I want to know why he did it."

"I want to kill him myself." Madison said darkly. She had wanted to since the day she saw her parents' blood stained on their white bedsheets.

Tyler went quiet, "I don't know about killing him."

"He killed your mom and-"

"-He's still my uncle."

"And?"

"And I wouldn't kill him!"

Madison looked out the window, "Where are we going?"

"A park."

"You like parks a lot."

Tyler looked over at her, "Yeah, I do."

They were quiet again before Tyler cleared his throat, "You seemed to have coped with everything pretty well."

"This whole murderer thing got in the way. I think everything will hit me when this is all over." Madison said as they pulled up to the parking lot of another green park. They got out of the car and walked, stride for stride, around the park.

"You know that whole thing about Kate?" Tyler said and Madison nodded. Why did he have to bring her up? She felt sorry, that the girl was dead, but she just wished he'd stop tearing her up from the inside, with all these sudden things.

"I never planned on moving to another state to be with her." He said slowly, "I only told that to Sebastian to show that I was better than him."

Madison held in her laugh, "Seriously?"

The curves of a smile appeared on his face, "Yeah. I told you, I'm the lesser twin. The jealous one.  I've done the dumbest shit to try and be better than him. But, I'm done trying to better, I'm just doing shit for myself from now on."

"Good for you." Madison smiled.

Tyler cleared his throat nervously, "Maddy, I-"

Tyler was interrupted by shouts coming from a man across the park.

"Help me!" The man was screaming at the top of his lungs. He fell to the ground suddenly. Madison and Tyler both gave each other one look before running towards the man.

Did he just have a heart attack? Was he just shot? Is he alright?

When they got to the man, he was face down in the grass. Tyler knelt down next to the man, "Hey, buddy, you alright?" He attempted to roll him over.

The man opened his eyes.

Green.

His fists struck Tyler in the face.
