Chapter TwentyFive

I walk up to Tobias' front door and knock three times. I fiddle with my fingers while I wait for it to open.
I worked up the courage to talk to Tobias in person about what Uriah suggested. This is it.
The door opens. "Hello?" Tobias asks once he opens the door. When his eyes land on me he stands there with his lips parted; obviously lost in words.
"Tobias," I say, weakly. I know Uriah told me he forgave me but I still have a feeling he's upset.
"Tris," he says breathlessly. I guess he wasn't suspecting me to show up.
"So I received your Uriah through my window," I say lightly, trying to ease the tension.
I see his posture relax a little and a small smile forms on his face.
"Oh, um. Yeah..." he says, rubbing the back of his neck. "About that, I--"
"--couldn't fit through my window?" I finish, smirking at him.
His eyes widen. "He didn't really tell you, did he?"
"Oh he did."
He gives a worried look and laughs nervously.
"Well, I'll just let myself in then," I say after a moment of silence. I walk inside and he closes the door. I stand in the middle of the entrance, looking around, unable to do anything else.
He walks in front of me and shoves his hands in his front jean pockets.
"I'm...I'm sorry for yelling at you," he says, looking down at the wood floors.
"It's okay," I lie. It wasn't okay, but if he is forgiving me, I have to forgive him too.
"No," he says, taking a step closer. "It's not okay. I'm sorry Tris. I should have known I hurt you too," he says. I can hear the hurt in his voice and my throat tightens.
"I wish you could take me back though," he says softly, reaching his hand up and lightly touching my cheek.
"I will," I whisper, closing my eyes and leaning into his soft hand. That's when I realized how much I missed him. I missed his touch, his warmth, his words, his taste. I missed him so much and now I will never let him leave again.
"Tris..." He says, taking my face in his hands and leaning his forehead against mine.
"Just kiss me," I whisper. And then our lips collide.
He moves his hands up and into my hair, kissing me like it will be the last time in his life.
He moves forward until my back hits the wall, trapping me in this bliss. I pull away from him to catch my breath.
"I love you," I say through breaths.
"I love you so much more," he says, kissing my neck.
I smile, feeling the warmth of his lips against my neck.
I love him, endlessly. And that's how our crazy, stupid, blissful love story began.

Thanks so much for viewing & voting on this story!
I'm so sorry I didn't update in a long time and I'm so sorry this chapter is so short, but I had to end it at some point. I've been going through things and I just couldn't find motivation to continue this story.
I am writing a new story--Not a FanFiction--but it's called "Broken-Hearted Souls." It would be great if you could check it out(:
And thanks again so much for the votes/comments/views! Love you all!<3
