Chapter Seven:
Christina and I jump down from my bedroom window and quickly run across the yard to Four's bedroom window. Good thing it's not too far up, so we just grab onto their hands and they pull us up.
Christina throws a bag of chips at Uriah. "Here ya go dumbass."
I laugh and go and sit next to Four on his bed. His room is painted dark blue and his bed has black covers. It's a pretty basic room other than that.
"Like my room?" I hear him say. I nod, not knowing what else to do.
Christina sits down on the bedroom floor and eats chips with Uriah. "Dude barbecue is the bestttt" he says shoving more chips in his mouth.
"So whatcha wanna do?" Christina asks while brushing her hands off on her pants. I look at Four.
"Well, Marcus left a few hours ago for a business meeting or something. He won't he back until Monday." He states smirking.
"Let's play Candor or Dauntless!!" Uriah says jumping up. I shrug in agreement and so does Christina.
"Okay," Four says. "If you refuse to do the dare or tell the truth, you have to remove an article of clothing according to the askers choice." He glances at me and smirks. I blush and look at Christina, she looks excited.
"I wanna go first!" Uriah says, "I pickkkk Four! Candor or Dauntless??"
Four taps his chin and pretends to think, "well duh! Dauntless! I'm not a pansycake."
Uriah smirks, "I dare you to kiss one of these two lovely ladies on the lips." I turn bright red.
Four turns toward me and places his hand on the side of my face and quick pecks me on the lips. Electricity flows through my body, even though the kiss wasn't even for a second.
"Awwhhhh!!" Christina gushes. I stick out my tongue and flip her off.
"Okaay, Tris! Candor or Dauntless?" Four asks me.
"Candor..." I say slowly.
"Hmmm. Would you kiss Uriah?"
I look over at Uriah and he has lips together and is making kissing noises. I laugh and shake my head. "Nahhhh," I say laughing.
"Christina! Candor or Dauntless?" I ask her.
"Dauntless of course," she says making a face.
"I dare you too ask Will out on Monday," I say to her. She turns red.
"I don't think he wants to date though!" She says quietly embarrassed.
"Well if you're not gonna do it, then shirt, off!" I say putting my hands in the air. Christina groans and takes off her Aeropostale t-shirt and throws it at Uriah. Uriah's eyes widen, "Nice pink bra, Chrissy!" Christina scowls at him and punches him in the arm.
"Owww!!" He whines.
"HA!" She says laughing, and then she turns to me. "Tris, Candor or Dauntless?"
"Dauntless!" I say confidently.
She smirks, "I dare you do sit on Four's lap for the rest of the game." I turn red and look at Four. He's leaned up against the wall sitting on his bed. He pats his lap and gives me a flirty smile.
I crawl across the bed and sit on his lap. He wraps his arms around me and I smile.
I feel his breaths against my neck and I sigh. I hope he didn't hear that.
Christina gives me a look and winks. She gets up and faces Uriah. "Uriah! Show me to the bathroom pleaseee"
Uriah huffs and then gets up and walks out the bedroom door with Christina following him. Now it's just Four and I.
"Hmm, you should come to my pool party I'm having tomorrow." He whispers in my ear. I shiver a little.
"That sounds like fun," I respond. I love his arms around me, I feel safe. I wish I could tell him how I feel. But I don't want him to think I'm weird. He probably doesn't like me back anyway.
Christina comes back in the room and slips on her t-shirt. "Come on Tris! We should be getting back."
She walks over to the window and jumps out. I turn to Four, "Um, Bye, I guess." I start to get up but he just holds me tighter.
"Hold on a second," he whispers in my ear. I lean forward and he gently kisses my forehead. I blush and close my eyes. Does he like me? Probably not.
"Text me some time, okay?" He says softly.
"Okay." I say. I get up off his bed and wave to him before jumping out the window. "See ya, Four."
