Chapter two ♡

Dahyun's POV

I rocked back and forth on my heels as I watched other maid employees rush back and forth in the kitchen, cooking various sweets and such.

There girl with a pan of freshly made cinnamon buns icing them ,carefully. It made my mouth water a bit, Reminds me of  how I haven't had a cinnamon bun in so long.

Maybe I can work in the kitchen I'd love to smell yummy food everyday.

But what if I accidentally burn something? What if something catches on fire? Oh god what if I get fired only a couple weeks in?!

The nervousness started to kick it. I had never gotten a job before my parents thought school was more important than anything so I didn't do anything else but school.

Now I was going to start college soon and I really need this money for classes, textbooks, food and Man I eat a lot like seriously-

"Dahyun? Dahyun!" I heard someone call my name making me snap out of my mid life crisis

"huh?" I heard fast click clacking footsteps behind me.

I turned my head to see a tall girl with brown hair and a bright smile.
She waved at me.

"Hi, You're Dahyun right?" The girl asked. "Uh yes and you are?"

I toke a glance at her name tag.
Sana. Huh, that's a nice name.
I liked it.

"Sana" The older girl said
"Yes I know, I uh read your name tag" I pointed to the name tag pinned to the maid uniform. Sana looked down "Huh? Oh right forgot that was on there" She murmured

"Well if it isn't obvious I'll be your mentor training you!" Sana said with a lot of enthusiasm.

The younger girl thought that Sana seemed responsible and like she knew what she doing— which was not like Sana at all.

"Anyways are you ready for first day of training at Twiceland Cafe?" She said putting her hand on her hips, her head cocked to the side.

"Ready than I'll ever be" I mumbled nervously. Sana grinned then grabbed my hand "Let's start by introducing you to everyone yeah?"

I didn't even get a chance to nod before I was dragged out of the yummy smelling kitchen And into the restaurant.

Trying to keep up with her, I thought
God, how can she move so fast in these heels?

We skidded to a halt stopping in front of a girl which Sana started chatting with. Meanwhile I almost crashed into another maid carrying dirty plates just behind me.
"Sorryyyy" I cringed as the girl glared at me, rolled her eyes then walked off.

Great job Dahyun. First day on the job and someone probably already doesn't like you. Just great!

I huffed a sigh then looked forward to see who the girl Sana was going to introduce me too. She was cute with her short black hair, chubby cheeks, and round circle glasses.

She's Cute. I thought

"Dahyun!"
"Huh?"
"Momo was talking to you, did you even hear anything she said?"

I looked at the girl who I assumed was Momo who's big eyes were staring curiously at me.

"Sorry..no not really" I apologized my face growing red of embarrassment.
"It's okay~" The Momo girl assured me.

"Anyways" Sana started "This is the new employee, Her name is Dahyun and I'll be training her" Sana boasted
Momo's eyes widened "You're training her?" 

Momo leaned forward to me, her voice down to a whisper,

"Run while you still can Dahyun, Sana isn't good you don't wanna be like her" She paused then glanced at Sana "She burned the stove, the kitchen was on fire!" I raised my eyebrow at her.

"Hey!" Sana shoved Momo's head away from me "That's not true!" Oh, But Momo kept talking.

"Yes it is I was there! Ask for someone else Dahyun! Don't let her teach you how to cook Dahyun! Don't-"

Sana put her hands on my shoulders then maneuvered me away "Letssss go meet someone else" Sana said quickly Momo still saying warnings behind us.

"Uh What was that?" I asked, concerned. "Oh Nothing Just Momo...Being Momo" She laughed nervously. "Uh-Huh?" I held back my giggles as we stopped in front of some girl. She had long dark brown hair stopping at her boobs, speaking of boobs hers were-

"Hi I'm Jihyo, You must be the new maid? Dahyun right?" The girl- Jihyo asked. "Hey how'd you know?"
"Because I read the emails Nayeon sends us unlike you Sana"

Sana gasped offended. And I couldn't help but snicker at Jihyo's comment.

"Anyways" Jihyo shoved Sana aside making the girl gasp again "If you ever need any help with anything, come ask me okay? Sana is dumb so"
"Hey!"
"Yes ma'am" I giggled
"Now give me a hug" Jihyo said opening her arms and embracing, her hand on top of my head making me lay my head on her boobs, which where very comfy by the way.

"Jihyo~ Can I get a bubble tea please?" A male sitting in a booth asked with literal heart eyes at Jihyo.

"Oh of course~" Jihyo said in a sweet like honey voice before pulling away from the hug. "I have to work but I'll see you around okay?" Jihyo looked at Sana and mouthed 'Take care of her' before heading into the kitchen.

"Well she's really nice" I commented watching her converse with the male customer.

"Yeah that's Jihyo for you, she's really cares about everyone Nayeon's the stricter one" Sana whispered the last part. "Nayeon seems nice though..?" I tilted my head to the side.
"Uh-huh sure she is" She muttered.

"Anyways there is one last person for you to meet~"
"Who's that?"

"Oh Minari~" Sana hummed catching the attention of a peach haired girl "Say Hi to the new employee~" Her eyes brightened and she sauntered over to us.

"Hello" Her voice was soft and gentle which seemed just like her.
Minari meet dahyun~" Sana hummed.

"Hi I'm Mina but Minari is my nickname" She laughed shyly.
"Hi my name is Dahyun" I waved.
"I'm mentoring her!" Sana bragged yet again.

"You are? Oh my" Mina leaned forward.
"Dahyun I could always just mentor you" Mina said.
Sana was about to object but then I said "No I'm good, I like Sana she's funny."
Sana grinned situating her hands on her hips "Thank-You Dahyun~"

"I won't forget the fact that she burnt the kitchen down though" Mina and I stifled a giggle, while Sana objected "It was one time, okay?!"

"Sana!" Nayeon started from across the restaurant "What did I say about yelling in the restaurant?"

"Let's go Dahyun" Sana huffed before putting her hands on my shoulders and guiding me away from Mina. "Love you Sana" Mina called while Sana rolled her eyes and I just laughed.

With all these nice co-workers around, You know maybe I could make it around here.
