Tord x Reader : Everything Is Fine... Right??

Chapter 7: After School

          The last bell rang letting everyone know it was their favourite part of the school day, leaving. Everyone as always rushed out in big crowds leaving to be the last one to leave. "Hey y/n come over here," as you turn you see Tord waiting at his desk still. You walk over to him asking if he asked you to go over to him as he nods and pulls something out of his pencil pouch and turns towards you. 

       "I bought this the other day and its totally your style and when i found it today in class i thought of you," Tord says with a huge smile.

    "Tord thank you and it is totally my style thank you," i say with a fake smile not knowing how to react in this situation.  

     As i put on the black and dark purple bracelette with charms of my horiscope, which was probaly odd for him to know which he most likely got this for another friend but wasnt friends with that person anymore, the charms continued around the whole bracelette, mermaid, dolphin, flowers in twos, cherries, and a heart with a bandaid over a few zig zags which i guessed meant it was a broken heart, then along with what looked like a life line, after i analized it for what felt like forever i turned to Tord, " are you sure you want me to have this? I mean it looks special and if you give it away then who know what might happen?"

   "Yes y/n i want you to have it!" He faces me, "its all good!"

     I smiled and walked out of the class with a wave then walked home. I really never liked walking home but it was way better then riding the bus, where all the loud kids scream because our bus driver is deaf and cant hear anything anyone is saying to him, which is why he must have picked this job because he cant hear everyone screeching and hollering. As i reach my front porch ready to step into a house i dreaded from the begining. My mother didnt work and was always home drinking and watching tv as she talks to herself about having no job and being lazy. 

    "How was the first day?" my mother yells over top the loud tv as i walk into the house, "normal for a first day and think i might have friends already," i say with a tiny smile trying not to blush at the fact that im kinda into Tord.  

  "Thats nice sweetie, uh dinner is in the oven about another 15 minutes i believe." she turns my way as i nod my head and head up to my room. 

  When we first moved in i got to pick my room because my mom knew i was not happy with what had happened, and as any person would i picked the bigest room with the personal bathroom, mostly that choice was because it had more windows which gave me a easier way of sneaking out when i needed too. 

 I hear the oven been so i open my room door smelling the rose water from the morning and  putting my back pack down. Running down the steps so i can help set the table for two, and sit down.  

  We quietly finish dinner then i head back upstairs, "why did Tord give this to me?" i question. "Who was going to receive this before me," and, "WHY THE HELL WOULD HE GIVE IT TO ME?!"
