Chapter Twenty

"YOU DID WHAT?!?!" Yoongi yells, startling me awake.

I look up, seeing Yoongi tackle Jimin to the ground and start punching him senselessly. I shoot up onto my feet, grabbing Yoongi and pulling him off of Jimin. Min-Ho and Se-Hun then grab Yoongi while Hoseok and Jungkook drag Jimin away.

His nose was dripping with blood, a cut on his forehead, and Yoongi's ring marks on his cheek. He was conscious, but out of it. Yoongi was panting while his mutant form was starting to come out.

"What the hell is going on?" Sang-Hun asks then Yoongi looks at me.

"You let that sicko fuck you?!" Yoongi asks me and I stay silent.

His eyes widen as the whole bus goes silent, the sound of the bus engine driving us to wherever. He drops his hand to his side and looks at me in disbelief. He slowly shakes his head at me while his hands grasp my shoulders.

"Tell me that's not true." Yoongi begs then he shakes me. "PLEASE TELL ME IT'S NOT TRUE!!!" He shouts then I pry his hands off of me.

"It is!" I exclaim and his jaw drops. "I should've known better, but it's true..." I answer then Yoongi shakes his head.

"Just please," Jimin start saying then we look at him, "don't let Taehyung find out. Knowing him, he'll kill me. You're my least concern at the moment." He pleads.

"Don't let me find out about what?" Taehyung asks then we look back at him, seeing we woke him up.

He stands up and walks over to us with long, slow strides. He stands behind me and looks around in confusion and raises an eyebrow.

"Why's Yoongi-hyung almost in his form?" Taehyung asks then he looks at Jimin. "And why's hyung bandaging up Jimin-ssi?" Taehyung asks.

"Nothing, they just had a little disagreement on something." I lie then Taehyung's eyes widen.

"Wait," Taehyung says then his eyes start to turn golden brown, "I heard what was going on." Taehyung's glare then faces Jimi, making Jimin's face have fear painted all over it. "You fucking bastard slept with Y/N/N." Taehyung hisses and all of our eyes widen.

"Sonic, stop the bus, now!" A-Ra demands then Ji-Yong slams on the brakes.

Min-Ho tackles Taehyung to the ground while Jimin runs to the back of the bus and opens the back entrance then jumps out of it. He starts running then he shapeshifts into a cheetah and continues to run.

Taehyung yells out as Min-Ho is thrown at the side of the bus and we hear bones crack from him.

"Min-Ho!" Ha-Yun calls out then she runs to his side.

Taehyung runs out of the back of the bus and starts chasing after Jimin. I look around then I jump out from the back of the bus.

"Y/N-ah!" Yoongi calls out as I keep on running.

My feet then begin to feel like I was running on air, it felt like I wasn't running on anything. I felt my body become lighter, but heavier at the same time. My clothes then change and so does my appearance.

"FUCK YEAH, THERE'S YOUR MUTANT FORM!!!" Sang-Hun shouts and I smile.

My hair was now black, I had purple eyes, there were black cracks around my eyes, I was wearing a long-sleeve white blouse, a black pencil skirt, black boots, my hair in a high ponytail with white streaks, and my fingertips black.

I then grab the back of Taehyung's shirt then spin around to be in front of him. His canines were long, his claws were out, his hair was starting to turn black different from before, his eyes were soulless black, and he was breathing heavily.

"Y/N, move!" He commands and I keep my hand on his chest.

"Taehyung, stop it, don't hurt him." I tell him as he glares at me, panting.

"Y/N, move. I won't say it again." He demands as I stand in front of him.

"I'm not going to let you hurt him." I tell him as he takes a couple steps back.

"And how are you going to stop me?" Taehyung asks as he holds his hands up. "I'm the fucking Reaper and all the mutants have no choice, but to listen to me." He reminds me then he points to me. "That includes you, Y/N/N." He mentions then I hum in response.

"Actually, it doesn't." I deny as I step toward him with my hands behind my back. "It turns out, one of the Clarity mutant's abilities is to be able to control the Reaper." I reveal then his eyes widen as I place my hands on his chest.

I then stand on the tips of my toes, getting closer to Taehyung's face and pressing my lips against his. His hands then press against my back, pushing me closer to him. I then pull away as we stare into each other's eyes, with him turning back to normal.

"Explains a lot, doesn't it?" I ask him then he nods.

"Yeah, it does." He agrees as I smile. "Now, kiss me again." He requests, wrapping his arm around my waist.

I smile as I wrap my arms around his neck and we kiss again, more passionately this time. And it might be shocking and weird that I'm saying this, but I've officially fallen in love.

We then hear ear-bleeding shrieks come from around us and both Taehyung and I disconnect our lips and look around. We then feel the ground shake and we both fall back along with everyone on the bus.

Cracks then start to split open from the ground and everyone starts to scram away. Then hundreds upon thousands of Chenhwa emerge from the ground and start to wreak havoc on everyone.

Everyone who was living and breathing were attacked and had to help fight for themselves. A large group of Chenhwa then surround me and start to fight me. I try to fight back, but slowly and surely, I could no longer feel anything in my bones.

"NO!!!" Taehyung yells as I feel dozens of hands wrap around my arms and legs.

Then everything turned black.

"Y/N-AH!!!!" I scream as the Chenhwa take her into the cracks.

A large group of them then surround me and start to punch me, kick me, and yank on me. I continue to fight for my life. I then feel one of them grab the base of my wings and I shriek in pain.

They were all then taken out and turn to dust as Jimin leaps onto them and fights them. He then grabs my arm and wraps it around his shoulders and starts to drag me back to the others.

"I thought...you hated me..." I tell him and he scoffs.

"What gave you that idea?" He asks me.

"You never...came to see...me." I answer then Jimin looks down at me and smiles.

"I'd never leave you, buddy. We're the unstoppable duo, the '95 liners, no one can ever beat us." He assures me and I smile at him. "And I won't ever mess with Y/N again without your permission. That's a promise." He tells me then I smile even more.

"Thank you." I thank before the pain continues to set in.
