"Kion what is it?" She asked calm.

Kion sighed.

"Just... forget it. It's getting late anyway. Maybe I will tell you tommorow."

He said and got up and said goodbye to Fuli.

"Yeah see you tommorow!"

She said happy and sprinted home leaving Kion in a trail of dust.

Yeah let's hope that.

He thought.

He walked towards the lair and didn't say anything. He had lowered his head and had a lot of thoughts running through his head.

"Come on Kion she is a cheetah and you are a lion that couldn't work! But on the other side she is really pretty and sweet... no you need to focus! Stop thinking about her. You have other things to worry about!"

He walked towards the entrance of the lair and looked outside.

Okay I have two hours to get some sleep before I'm going to meet that other cheetah.

He thought and headed back to where his sleeping spot was. He layed down and took one last look around before he closed his eyes.

Two hours later.

Kion woke up and felt a cold breeze running through his fur. He stretched his body and took his suit on and headed out. It was early and the sun was barely warming anything up and when Kion breathed he could see that a cloud of cold breath escaped his mouth. He walked towards a hill side and decided to sit down and relax for some time before Huntress was meeting him. Beneath the hill side were some tall grass. Kion thought that this was the place where they were supposed to train. He could feel the cold air running through his veins and body and was freezing a little bit but he continued to lay down even tho it was cold.

Some time passed and Kion was getting impatient.

"Come one Huntress what is taking so long?" He said annoyed. Suddenly Kion got pinned down and looked into a pair of emerald eyes.

"You missed me?" She said with a smile.

"Just a little bit" He smiled back.

Huntress let go of Kion, and he brushed some dirt of him.

"By the way you are-"

He couldn't say more before he was cut of.

"Late? I've never been late, you just haven't noticed me." She smirked.

"You ready to begin the training?" She said challenging.

"Yeah whatever, lets just get this over with." He replied slightly annoyed.

"Okay, I thought about it and lets train your fighting skills, but I can see we have to change your attitude as well!" She rolled her eyes.

"You know what? When I think about it I don't think I need your help anyway!" He said upset and got up and began to walk away.

"Oh so the scaredy cat don't want to be a better fighter? Alright have it your way, but don't come back crying to me when you get you're tail kicked by The Jokers goones or even himself next time!" She yelled pissed.

Kion stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"Hold on a second, how did you know that?" He said suprised.

" Oh I have seen how you fight and all of that. And I just gotta say you ain't doing a very good job. So all I can say is. Take it or leave my help. YOU decide!" She said specific and didn't say anything else.

Kion sighed.

"Okay I will take your offer. Let's start over?" He said with a smile.

"That's the attitude I wanted to hear! Now let's do some pouncing and pinning down."

She smiled and looked at the lion with a challenging face.

"Bring it!" He replied with a smirk.

"Okay I start. You go down to where the tall grass ends and I will try and pounce and pin you down to the ground. Got it?" She said specific.

Kion nodded.

"Okay good."

She waited for him to go into the tall grass. Kion got into his possition. Fuli was slowly approaching Kion and she didn't make any sound so Kion couldn't hear her. Suddenly she pounced on the lion cub and had him pinned him down.

"Got ya! Now your turn Whiskers!"

"Good job Spots!"

She let go of him and she ran into the tall grass. Fuli sat down where Kion was before and waited. Kion was really good. He walked very slowly and Fuli couldn't hear him. He pounced and had her pinned down.

"Not so bad for a rookie!" She smiled.

"Thanks." He smiled back.

"Will you let me up now?" She asked curious.

"Hmmm not immediately." He smirked.

"What do you want? A kiss?" She smirked back at him.

"Wha?-"

Was all he could say before he was pinned down.

"Okay second thing. Do NEVER let your guard down okay?" She giggled.

"Got it." He groaned.

Kion looked at the cheetahs emerald eyes and found them recognizable. He stared at her eyes and thought.

Haven't I seen you before?

Suddenly Huntress spoke to him.

"Are you okay, Whiskers?" She asked confused.

"Wha? Oh sorry, it's nothing I was just thinking about something." He said embarrassed.

"It's okay. What were you thinking about?" She asked curious.

"Ah nothing special. I just thought about that you are pretty fast. Almost as fast as the fastest in the Pridelands." He explained.

"Thank you."

She said proud untill she realised what she said and looked down at the confused lion cub.

"I took that as a compliment." She smiled.

"Anyway I think that's-"

Kions ears twitched.

"Shhh, please be quiet and get down on the ground now." He said worried.

"Are you ready for round two already?" She teased.

"I'm not playing games right now. I'm serious!" He said specific.

"Sure." She said rolling her eyes.

Kion pushed her of and they both landed in the tall grass.

"Hey watch where!-"

"Shhh!"

Fuli kept her mouth shut and her ears twitched as well.

"Ain't this gonna be awesome to join this Joker guy?" A jackal said.

"It sure is. Just rememeber not to talk to loud about this. You never know what is hiding in the shadows or in the bushes." Another jackal said.

The jackals began to laugh. They then walked away from the tall grass leaving the two felines alone.

"That was close. Thank you for the heads up." She said grateful.

'No problem. Looks like we have something bigger to deal with than we expected." He said worried.

"Yeah. We should meet up tomorrow to train some more and then try and figure out what is going on." She suggested and Kion nodded.

"Sounds like a plan to me." He replied and then they walked away in different directions.

While Kion walked back towards the lair he thought.

Those eyes could that be? Nah impossible! I mean there is a lot of cheetahs who have emerald eyes right?...
