The Dark Lion

This is not the end... yet. Part 2

As Fuli and the rest of the Guard ran off toward their opponents the Joker had told his team what to do before facing Kion. "You know what to do." He said and nudged his head at the Guard.

He nodded and turned to face them even tho something seemed a bit off about him but no one seemed to notice this.

Has Fuli's eyes always been so green? Kion asked himself, shaking those thoughts away. He believed he was in love with Ivy still.

Fuli looked at Beshte and Ono as she was running ahead. Beshte you get the big guy, while Ono takes out the female hyena. And Bunga?" She turned her attention to the honey badger running beside her. "Can you take care of the other cheetah?"

"You got it!" He exclaimed.

"Then I'll take care of that lioness." She whispered under her breath as a growl escaped her lips.

They all charged at their different opponents. Especially Fuli, all of her love she held turned to anger and vengeance against Poison Ivy to changing Kion. "I...LOVE..KION!" She screamed, allowing that to become her battle cry.

Poison Ivy ran toward Fuli and was just about to lunge at the cheetah before a hard push from the side knocked her and grunted as she hid the ground. She got up to see it was Kion who had done it.

"What are you doing!?" Just as he did that.

"Joining the right side." He growled back.

Ivy froze a bit just as he said that, being speechless for a moment. "H-How...?"

"Simple, the second time you kissed me the spell wear off." He replied staying in a fighting stance.

"My powers can do that?" Poison Ivy asked in shock.

"You didn't know that?" Fuli smirked, gleaming eyes towards Kion.

Ivy snarled. "It doesn't matter, once you are out of the way I can make him mine again." She replied before letting thorn branches grab Fuli's legs and pulled her to the ground.

Kion pounced on Ivy and rolled around with her a few times before quickly getting pinned down by Ivy who smirked as she grabbed his head and was about to kiss him once again, trying to get him back in her control. Just as she was about to do that a flash of green her of off Kion.

It was Bunga.

"Got you now you meanie lioness!" He shouted.

"LET ME GO!" Poison Ivy screamed, but to no avail.

"Nah I don't think so. What do you say Kion?" Bunga asked as he and got off her just as Kion went up to Ivy and grabbed her.

"I suggest you let go of the cheetah." He warned as he growled at her.

"Why would I do that?" Ivy smirked at him as he said that.

Kion growled and unsheated his claws and held them to her throat.

"Do I need to tell you again?"

"Why do you even love her anyways?" Ivy scoffed.

"Because she didn't force me to love her and she's not a monster like you are." He replied and pressed his claws against her throat a little more. "Let. Her. Go."

She only laughed. "I only do that to get what I want." She then smirked after she said that.

Kion was about to knock her out but felt someone grab his paw just before he could do anything.

"Kion, calm down." Bunga whispered, hoping to not have Kion lose his cool.

While Kion let his guard a little down Ivy reacted fast and made tree roots grab Bunga from behind and pinned him to a nearby tree, then made vines hold Kion in place as she chuckled.

Kion tried to press something on his wrist with his paw.

"What are you doing?" Ivy snapped.

He struggled to reach due to Ivy trying to hold his paw away from what he was going to do, but managed to press it and as he did electrical sparks started going around his suit and he smirked. "This." He then gave Ivy an electric blast which sent her into a tree.

As Ivy hit the tree she became unconscious, he landed on all fours again and freed Bunga before running over to a struggling Fuli.

"Kion." She whispered with a smile and stopped struggling.

"Hold still." He said and clawed her free from the thorns.

Fuli felt free upon freed from the bush. "Thank you."

Kion smiled. "Your welcome." He offered a paw to help her up.

She stood up, looking into his amber coloured eyes and he looked back into her emerald coloured eyes seemingly lost in them. He was quickly pulled away from his thoughts.

"Sorry for interupting but what's the plan Kion?" Bunga asked softly.

Kion looked down down at Bunga. "Right.." he thought of what they should do just as sticks with flames was dropped on the ground and fire was slowly spreading.

"This just keep getting better." Fuli commented sarcastically.

Kion looked around to see where the fire was spreading. "We need to stop the fire from spreading too much."

"Bunga, start on the fire bricks." Fuli ordered.

"Got it!" He replied and ran off and started doing it.

Kion looked around and saw the Joker's team mates started to lose and scattered away slowly which made Kion smirk. "Looks like his team isn't doing too well." As he said that he heard a sinister laugh, he looked in the direction of the laugh and saw the Joker walk amongst the spreading fire.

"Well, well, isn't it Kion and Fuli." Joker laughed maniacally. "Or should I say Dark Lion and Huntress."

Kion growled loudly at him. "Just give up! It's over, we defeated your team. You have lost!"

"Lost?" He chuckled deeply. "No, far from it. I see your precious Pridelands is on fire, and you can't stop it in time!" He smirked.

"It's you against two of us."

His smirk widened and got into a fighting stance. "Come on then, get me."

"How did he found out who we are?" Fuli asked shocked.

Kion looked at her confused. "You can't remember?"

"Aww did the cheetah hit her head pretty hard?" Joker laughed mockingly.

Fuli's mind rewinded quickly to the day Kion rescued her. "Oh yeah..." She recalled, getting into a fighting stance.

Kion did the same as well. "You ready?"

Joker waited for them to charge, having a plan ready.

They charged at him and Fuli attacked the Joker, swinging her claws at him, leaving scratches.

He snarled viciously and pinned her down hard to the ground holding his paws on her throat, slowly choking her just to be tackled by Kion and got a punch right to the face before Joker kicked him off again and got back up.

Kion landed on his paws just as Joker spit out blood from his mouth, leaving blood on his muzzle. "Is that the best you can do!?"

"We respect the Circle of Life and the lives of who don't respect it." Kion replied with a growl.

Joker rolled his eyes before pounding on him and held Kion down. "You are just weak! she's weighing you down."

"You don't have to do this..." Kion grunted.

"It's too late for that now." He snickered.

"I'M NOT WEIGHING HIM DOWN!!!" Fuli screamed, charging toward the Joker.

"Night night Prince." He smirked as he dug his claws deep down into Kion's chest and he roared in pain.

"KION!"
