All falls down

Kion woke several hours later and had a sharp headache. He carefully looked around and analysed his surroundings. He was still a little dizzy after Kenge's bite, but he would survive. Kion could suddenly feel some movement beside him, his eyesight looked to his left and saw the most beautiful cheetah he loved to call his mate. She layed and slept peacefully beside him and she twitched sometimes, maybe because she probably was dreaming. Kion looked at her for some time, he couldn't stop feeling the guilt inside of him and it only grew bigger from every minute that went by. He licked Fuli's forhead and gave her a nuzzle, his ears then twitched at the sound of pawsteps. He looked towards where the sound came from and he then began to slowly growl when he saw who it was.

"Good to see that you are awake. So have you changed your mind, or do we have to change tactics?"

Kion didn't answer his question tho, he kept silent and still glared at Janja, on instinct he pulled Fuli closer to him. Unfortunately The Joker saw this.

"Hmm so you really care about her huh? That's good, because this is the last time you two will be together! So show how much you love her! It doesn't change anything after today. See the lava slowly coming towards you?"

He said while as he looked  at the lava. Kion looks the same way as Janja does and then looks back again.

"Or maybe you and Fuli will have a better chance than Sudi over here."

The Joker turned his head to a dead lion cub not far away from them.

"Sudi maybe you can help them out? Oh yeah that's you can't talk because you are DEAD! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The Joker began to laugh maniacally. He then looked at Kion again.

"Well sorry about that. Anyways I would love to talk a little longer, but I have something to do and it involves your family. And if I were you I would think of a plan to get out of here before you run out of time. Come on you gotta tell them your plan! I'm not finished yet! Sorry, go on. Thank you."

He talked with himself making Kion feel more uncomfortable than he already was.

"Like I said, it involves your family and let's just say a lot of fire! Imagine your beloved Pridelands all burnt down to ash! HAHAHAHA!"

Kion let out a snarl.

"You won't get away with this!"

"Well from my view it looks I have!"

The joker started to smell the lava.

"Is it getting hot or is it just me? HA! Well gotta go bye! Oh and I will make sure your parents will be smiling!"

He gave Kion an evil grin and walked off. Kion saw the lava getting closer towards Fuli and him and began to panic a little bit. He suddenly heard a bush moving, his eyes looked at the bush and didn't keep his eyes away from it.

"Show yourself!" He warned. Suddenly a figure stepprd out of the bush that Kion know all too well.

"Bunga!"

"Kion! Thank the great kings he didn't do anything to you two!" He exclaimed as he ran over to them and helped them.

"We are save for now."

He pointed towards the lava.

"Don't worry I got you guys."

Bunga then pushed Kion out of the way from the lava and then he helped Fuli, just in time before they got melted.

"I heard about Janja's plan, isn't there something we can do?"

"Get the ponya flowers Bunga and get back here as fast as possible!"

"Got it!"

He said and ran offnleaving Kion and Fuli alone.

"Don't worry Fuli we will get out of this and stop Janja."

Kion licked Fuli's forehead again in hope to wake her up but there was still no response from her.
