The Dark Lion

This is not the end... yet. Part 1

The Joker had discussed his plan a couple of times to his crew.

"Any questions?" He asked, hoping no one had. He noticed Cheezi and Chungu wanting to say something.

"Yes?" He said annoyed.

"Errmm... what was it again?" Chungu asked confused. The Joker groaned and looked at them.

"Just follow my lead, as you always do." He replied.

"You really want.. these two to come with us?" Deathstroke asked with a raised brow, not being amused.

The Joker sighed. "Unfortunately.. yes."

"What is it we're doing again?" Cheezi asked.

The Joker took a deep breath to remain calm. "You have the most important role. You two are on the lookout. You make sure no one figure out where we are at. Got it?" He asked. They both nodded and he put on a fake smile.

"Good to hear fellas."

He cleared his throat. "Anymore questions?" He said with a glare, as no one answered. "Good. Then let's get this plan started." The Joker said as they started to walk off. He went over to The Dark Lion's side. "I need to talk with you, now." He told him. The Dark Lion looked at Ivy, she sighed and nodded.

"Just be quick about it." She frowned slightly.

"Don't worry I'm not taking him away from you." He rolled his eyes and walked a few meters away where they could talk alone.

"So you know what to do right?" The Joker asked as he looked at him. The Dark Lion nodded.

"Good. Can you also remember what to do if you see the cheetah?" He asked as The Dark Lion nodded again.

"Just leave that to me." He replied.

"Let's go." The Joker said and began to walk off. The Dark Lion went back to Ivy again.

Meanwhile Fuli went off to find Bunga. She looked the usual places where he was almost all the time, but he wasn't to be seen anywhere.

'Ugh where are you Bunga?' She thought to herself as she continued to look for him. She was close to be giving up, but then she saw him close to the Lair. She quickly ran over to him.

Bunga saw her and went over to her as well. As they met up with each other Fuli looked worried.

"Hi Fuli, have you seen Kion?" The honeybadger asked kinda worried.

Fuli froze a little she opened her mouth and tried to speak, but no words came out of her mouth as her ears flattened against her head.

"He's..." She managed to say and tears started to form in her eyes and slowly went down her cheeks. Bunga comforted her the best he could.

"It's ok. Just take your time." Bunga replied as he rubbed her back. Fuli took a deep breath and slowly began to speak.

"I tried to save him but.. I failed. He managed to get him." She sighed sadly.

"Who?" Bunga asked confused but still seemed to know who she was reffering too.

"The Joker..." She replied as her tears hit the ground.

Bunga dried them away and looked down after taking a deep breath and looked back up at his cheetah friend.

"Don't worry Fuli. We'll get him back, I promise." Bunga said determined and it seemed to work as Fuli calmed down.

"You are right Bunga. Thank you." She smiled at him as she flickered her tail and turned around and faced the direction where she last saw Kion, before he got taken away from her.

Bunga stood beside her. "So what is your plan?" He asked curiously as he looked ahead to where she was looking.

"We defeat them once and for all this time. Lets get on the suits and we get ready for them." Fuli replied, looking down at him.

"That could work. But uhh I don't think we can take 'em all on at the same time." He asked as he looked at her with a puzzled look.

Fuli looked at him with a surprised look, cause it was the first time she heard her friend ask a good question that was rare from Bunga.

"That's a very good question Bunga." She replied and thought about who they could ask to help out but was quickly interrupted by a nudge.

"What about Ono and Beshte?" He offered. Fuli nodded in agreement as it was the only ones they knew the best that could help with this.

"Good idea, but how do we tell them?" She questioned as they probably wouldn't believe them and just think they would be crazy if they told them the whole thing. "Just leave that to me Fuli." Bunga said confident as he started to walk off to find Beshte and Ono, only to be grabbed by the scruff from Fuli's teeth.

"Or we could show the suits while we're wearing them." She said muffled.

"Oh.. good idea. Lets do that!" Bunga agreed and Fuli put him down again. Bunga then started running off to the lair and as he did Fuli took on more glance at where she saw her lover last time. She then took off and followed after Bunga to the Guards lair.

Pawsteps trotted threw the Pridelands soil with one menacingly hyena going in the front who only had one thing going on in his mind at the moment.

To destroy the Pridelands once and for all...

He stopped as he saw the momument of Pride Rock and closed his eyes and took a deep breath, exhaling slowly as he opened them again with a chuckle. "You all know what to do. Spread out and kill anyone who is in our way!" He said and with that, they all went off to do their separate things.

Joker turned to Kion who remained by his side. "Go off and bring the Royal family here for their execution." He ordered and looked back at the land around him.

He nodded and went off toward Pride Rock and let out a low growl as he headed off. Unbeknownst to him were two animals telling their egret and hippo friend that they needed their help.

"Let me get this straight. You two are Huntress and Mystery Badger?" Ono asked quite confused as to why his two friends were dressed like this in front of him.

Fuli took a deep breath and took a step forward and looked at Ono and Beshte. "Yes, we're telling the truth and we really need your help to stop this threat towards our home." She said desperately.

Ono looked back at Beshte not sure as to trust them or not. Besthe turned to Fuli and Bunga going down to join them. "I'm in." He said determined. They all turned their attention to Ono which sighed and flew over on top of Beshte's back.

"We are with you." They said in unison. Fuli and Bunga smiled at this and now needed to explain what they needed to do.

"Ok, so what we do is that we need to stop them all one by one. We need to work as a team and I know it's hard without Kion but we can do this if we work together to take them on." She started. "Bunga have made these two suits for each one of you. They will enhance your strengths which will help us having a chance against them.

Ono yours will make you have the ability to fly faster and will make you see much faster." She told him as Bunga put it on him. It was white and orange.

"Beshte, yours will enhance your strenght as well. You'll be faster as well and be much harder to be taken down." She said as Bunga helped him get that on as well. His was brown and red.

"Vultures! Drop the fire sticks!" Joker ordered. The vultures did as they were ordered and dropped the sticks in different areas.

Fuli and the rest looked outside and saw the fire spreading. "Let's do this." She said to them and got ready to sprint off.

"For justice!" They all yelled and ran off as one.
