Chapter 18: Bio-Link Z

The next day...

William: "Andrea?"

Andrea had sent a guild chat message.

William: "We should go ask Walker about Bio-Link Z."

William finds Risa reading manga and eating breakfast.

William: "We're going to PR HQ today."

Risa: "(chewing) Okay."

The two head out after eating.

Risa: "(daydreaming) Bio-Link Z sounds like a new form for an anime character."

William: "(sighing) Anime really is the only thing on your mind."

They arrive to find the others in front of the elevator.

Michael: "(crying) First we lose Kyle and Tori and we now lose Robert and Cole."

Anthony: "What does Anti-Aegis even want?!"

Roy: "Well we should have a better idea on what new upgrade Walker is cooking up."

They all step inside as it ascends.

Edo: "Now let's get some answers."

They arrive at the top floor.

Andrea: "Walker?"

Walker is staring intently at his computer.

William: "Walker?"

Walker: "(startled) Dear god you scared me!"

Zack: "Do you mind giving us an idea on what Bio-Link Z is going to do?"

Walker: "I guess I should tell you. Bio-Link Z is a system that will enable more than two people to Bio-Link."

Isabel: "How does that sound safe?"

Walker: "That's why I am ironing out the bugs. I should be able to send it to everyone as soon as I complete it."

Emily: "Just don't turn me into some abomination of mankind."

Walker: "It shouldn't."

The group walks back into the elevator.

Walker: "One more thing! I located Anti-Aegis in the game!"

Their jaws drop.

Micheal: "(pissed) Where is that bastard?"

Risa: "Don't go running after them until after we're ready."

Micheal: "I know."

Walker: "That thing is blocking the passageway for the respawn program."

Andrea: "Anyone else remember that time Walker tried to kill us by shutting down the respawn program?"

William: "Yeah..."

Walker: "It explains the how for the Players, but not the why."

Serena: "We're going to kill that thing and save everyone!"

Caleb was once again in the corner.

Caleb: "(hopeful) Yeah..."

Walker: "I can send you there as soon as you all are ready."

The elevator begins to close.

Anthony: "We'll get enough strength when we deal with the Gold tier and then go ahead and send us in!"

Shining Hope leaves PR HQ and return to their preparations.
